Notes on My Hair

March 14th 2007 13:55
I think it's important to post things that are relevant to everyone. And my hair effects you all. It is the source of all your happiness when it looks super, and that feeling of despair in the pit of your stomach every now and then? That's because my hair isn't as awesome as it could be. Apologies. At the moment my hair is at the inbetweenish stage, so if you feel kinda content but also a little bit queasy, it's okay. I just washed it and when it dries you'll be feeling swell.

Any old how. Let's talk about more global issues. Global warming---->raught----->humi dity---->rain---->my hair. Would you look at that. Let's try again. Iraq--->Saddam Hussein---->Saddamn Hussein's Hair---->Sinead O'conner---->britney spears---->peanut butter---->izaac newton----->trains never come on time----->my hair. Oh wow. That's amazing, how they all connect like that.

I just turned on the news and there was something about that Debnam fellow and he was talking about my hair and how if elected he would talk about my hair and my hairity hair hair my my hair. I won't vote for him because his name doesn't roll off the tongue as easy as whoever's running against him. There's a lady with a picture of her own face in her front yard, she lives down my street. I'll vote for her and her Pearl Earrings Of Blindness. she can blind all the evil villains that may wish to cause harm to her front lawn. some may call her a fugly ho with stupid hair that is way less awesome than tasha's, but i think she's a hero. the greatest hero of our time even.

this was a pretty important post. read it to your children, they should know what's going on in our world.

p.s. i put this under lifestyle because i don't think it's as business related as you might think it is. so if you came here for lifestyle advice, here it is: white is a bad colour to paint walls, it gives people the impression that you're a cold lifeless robot with a heart of ice. my walls are blue and green so people know i'm way classy and enjoy not only blue skies but also green ones. hope that helped.

I'm Insanely Talented Pt. 1

November 8th 2006 12:45
Being that I’m the world’s foremost important and famous and prolific photographer I think it’s time I posted some of my awe inspiring and insanely terrific work. Are you ready?

This is the photo orble asked me if I wished to display when I posted things. I said yes because this photo is overwhelmingly pink thus justifying it as one of the Greatest Photo’s Ever. It’s of the inside of my mouth. If you’re a hot guy and wish to investigate the inside of my mouth further, drop me a line.

Here is when I ran out of pink flavored beverages and resorted to drinking the gross non-sugary tastes of beer. This is a sad photo, made all the sadder by the sad green colour and the sad paleness of my sad fingers.

This is a very complex photo. It is structured in a very geometric way and the colours contrast and complement one another. It is also a very important photo because this liquor store never once asked for I.D. before legality hit (despite seeing me in a school uniform everyday) and this pub constantly smelled of Eu de Bogane when I walked past.

Here we have a visual representation of a journey. As I journeyed toward university and HSC and graduation, so to did I journey through this sad little street on my way home. Once I tripped and the lunch I had just bought fell all over the road. But that’s a story for another day.

You could say that this photo depicts part two of part one of my twenty seven part journey and is thus a continuation of the story being told in the picture of the windingly straight road above. You see, back in the day, back in 2005, I drank only Banana Buzz Boosts. Now however, in the 2006, I drink only Watermelon Crush Boosts. We can safely deduce that I have greatly matured from those former wild days and am on a stable path heading toward greatness.

Well there were lots more pictures but unfortunately I think I exceeded the limit. This is exactly why this is a multi-part series. Are you excited for more? You better be, because my friends, there is trash in your future. Trash and the world cup and my dinner! Yes, you really are that lucky.

P.S. I’m this [-------] much closer to telling my parents I’ve deferred. Typing will be hard without a head

This was long. Thanks for reading and stuff!

You guys, it’s official. I have no life. I got a letter confirming it and it was signed by God. Monday morning, 3:24 in the a.m. and I’m running my face through a recognition database to see if I look like a celebrity. It's been taking a while so I’m not sure if it's run through all the hot people in Hollywood and is checking for local talent in the Himalayas or what, but I’m guessing I don't look like Rachel Bilson? That’s a bummer. Although we both have shiny brown hair.

So y'know, from the back? Maybe. Just maybe.

And that was my smooth segue into the topic of my hair. And this really is a loaded subject. My hair used to be all about the fringe. I’d wear it in a pony tail to school and this was when there was no way to brush the frizzy mess of bangs into any discernable style because I was only 11. Then, thank god, in year ten I just gave up and grew it out and it's been stylishly layered ever since.

Which brings me to my next point. I’m in desperate need of a hair cut. It just kinda falls all over the place up the front and because I sometimes wear my dark framed glasses this makes me appear emo-esque. Something I’m not. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But I’m just not.

This brings me to the point of this whole post. There is an alarming lack of photos on the internet of me. I’ll remedy that, don't you worry. Don’t you worry one bit.

Finally! It’s done. Verdict: Please upload a clear photo and try again.

Hugs and kisses,

the head of Alfredo Garcia

I'm pretty awesome

November 4th 2006 07:56
I guess that it would have made some sense to start this blog with a self introduction. Well alright, keep your pants on.

My name's Tash, I'm 18 and in university and this makes it all the sadder that my mother controls every aspect of everything I do (well to her knowledge). I want to be a journalist but am far too lazy to achieve this goal, which is why I’ve deferred from university; one year was enough. I'm over it. But I'm sure that an entire year in the full time workforce will have me singing a different tune. Not a death metal tune or anything, I'll never sing that. Probably not country music either. But a nice ballad? Some seventies rock? I don’t know, it’s possible
