Hooray for Our Side!! Our Side is the bestest side there is! We know Our Side is the bestest because we're here; we certainly would never be caught dead on the wrong side, now, would we?
Oh, it's not that the Other side is necessarily wrong- not all of them, just a few radical extremists. It's the radical extremists that make the Other side do such bad things. We sure are lucky that Our Side doesn't have any of those pesky radical extremists to make us do bad things. We should be thankful that our leaders had the foresight to pay such exorbitant fees for the Radical Extremist Hotels- yes, I know no one's ever actually seen them, but that's how we know they're working.
Yes, it's a shame about all theinnocent victims collateral damage- but remember it's all the Other side's fault. If it weren't for the evil Others and those gosh-darn radical extremists we wouldn't have to fight so hard over there to save them from themselves. Oh, no, the war was never about weapons of mass deconstruction or the Others' leader's links to really really radical extremists groups. It was always just to get a bad man out of power. Isn't that a much better place over there now, after we gave them the benefit of Our Side's cleansing goodness?
It's such a comfort and relief to know that Our Side has always been completely in the right, and that we've never ever done anything wrong. Well, yeah, "mistakes" were made, somewar crimes minor incidents happened, but that's all in the past. Laugh all you want about how our leaders' plan didn't work, but do it quickly because now those same leaders now have a new plan that will work.
What? Howobservant cynical can you possibly be to even suggest that the reason for the war was to shovel tons of cash into VicePrezCo to lose track of? That can't be the real reason for the war because Our Side is the good side. We're the bestest side, which logically can only mean that our motives are the bestest, too.
Just think it through: If Our Side wasn't the right side, the bestest, side... then we could maybe perhaps in some small, insignificant way... be wrong.

Getting back to the post, you remind me of a joke Rowan Atkinson told once about going to Hell where everbody pretty much ends up in hell, with him as the Devil, catholics, Muslims, buddhists etc, except for the Jews stating that "that's right, the Jews were right all along" etc.
