Australian actress Nicole Kidman has been immortalised amongst the world’s most famous and recognised personalities as the newest edition to Madame Tussauds waxwork museum in London.
Set amongst the sculptures of other Hollywood A-listers such as Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon, the wax model of Kidman bears a striking resemblance to the 40-year-old actress.
Taking a reported 4 months to create, the figure displays Nicole dressed in a dramatic bright red ball gown with her hair swept off her face.
Madam Tussauds spokesperson Ben Lovett provided the following statement:
'Nicole is wearing a stunning floor-length red dress which really emphasises her flawless beauty and grace, idolised by so many women around the world. There's no mistaking that she is a hugely popular global celebrity, and we are delighted to be unveiling her today.'
The waxwork figure was created based on reference to thousands of photos of the actress and has already been commended for its likeness to Kidman.
Nicole’s wax double is now on show in the Madame Tussauds London's new winter wonderland Blush zone, and is surrounded by snow and Christmas trees.
Now everybody say ahhh!
ELSEWHERE in Madam Tussauds…..
Australian ex-pat singer Kylie Minogue has requested that her existing waxwork is melted down and replaced with a new one.
Kylie has told the British newspaper Daily Star Sunday that she doesn’t like the current wax impression of herself and that she “even offered to pay for its removal!”
Kylie holds the impressive record of currently being the only celebrity aside from the Queen of England to have been immortalised in wax 4 times, as well as being the first ever wax figure to be ‘scented’ when her model was treated with her signature fragrance Darling.
