Skinning Jack
November 5th 2006 20:25
I never thought that skinning jack would be so much fun.
Usually I take gutting to be the tedious bit.
Stringy masses everywhere.
Fortunatly I prepared by laying down a plastic barrier.
No muss.
No fuss.
I like a smooth edged deboning knife.
Sharp, of course.
The skin comes off easily.
The meat into my big metal pot.
It simmers now, as I write.
What shall I make first?
I'm unsure.
Perhaps a nice,
Sweet,
Cinnamony,
Pumpkin Pie.
