Making ends meet while raising kids

Imagine if when you were younger, someone told you that you would go to work full time, working a job that you absolutely enjoyed doing or dreaded going to everyday (depending on where you work) then when you got off, you would work another full time job consisting of various obligations, that would offer no money, vacation/sick time, or benefits. You would say Hell No and run in the opposite direction so quickly!
Then you woke up one morning and realized you are doing that exact thing! When did I get here and how do I go back? You would kill for a time machine to go back and warn yourself of the peril your social life and personal time would suffer.
Well I living this exact thing and wonder how did I luck up and get a man who cares nothing about the well being of my his kids. I mean WTF who does that? Yeah, yeah I can hear you saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Who wants to be strong all the time, that is the reason why it takes two to create, because it takes to two to raise them.
So what makes us single moms keep going? Get up everyday and hustle to put food on the table? Be there for not only the kids but everyone else? Give up so much of us that we forget we were once women with goals to live our lives to the fullest! I'll tell you! We know that kids don't stay that way forever and will grow up and out of our homes. That ultimately with hard work; whether it be school, a challenging career, a stay at home that makes her money in the home, or whatever it is we do, we will have had the full package, kids and family and as we get older and they do too, our efforts will make us fabulous! We will look back and see were all our efforts and hardwork have not only made our kids who they are but have enriched our lives as well.
It's just right now... raising kids alone SUCKS!!!
