The thought of what was going through Freud’s mind while he was concocting his theories seems a scary revelation. Maybe that’s the point that Freud was concluding too in using his own reality to relate to is lurking below the surface of all of our life experiences. That we all at some point in our life are inevitiably likely to experience of moment of madness in which according to Freud he himself is a sentiment too.
