Shoes, our art of beautifying the feet.

April 1st 2007 05:37
Last time I said when you go for the exercise of walking, you don't need any expensive equipment. A pair of comfortable shoes will be okay, or you may walk with bare feet. Talking about shoes, I've done a little research online and found that they already existed on earth more than 8,000 years ago.

According to a report of The Japan Times, archeologist discovered a cave in Missouri with some shoes artefacts. They were made of leather and fiber woven into rope. These shoes looked somewhat like espadrilles in modern days.

They appeared in various styles too, some were pointy-toed sandals, some were round toed, some were sandals with heels. Obviously, foot wear had already become part of the fashion centuries ago.

Shoes had been something more than just gears to protect our feet. They are arts showing our novelty of beautifying the body parts that give us the freedom of moving from place to place.
