I am new to this blogging caper, but have loads of writing and photography experience and have published in newspapers, magazines, semi-academic journals and professional newsletters along with a chapter in one book and co-author of another. Areas of expertise include food and cooking, food science and nutrition, Ottoman and Turkish cuisine, life and travel in Turkey and Istanbul.
