So what is it about masturbation that is so taboo anyway?
We self pleasure...we have orgasm, clean up, shower....move on with our lives.
Is it so bad to admit that we can bring ourselves to orgasm in 30 seconds flat?
Is it shameful to talk about it? Especially for women?
I mean really, I don't get it.
I masturbate ALL the time. At least once a day, sometimes more.
And just because I haven't had sex in LIGHT YEARS, doesn't mean I'm hornier. I've ALWAYS done it.
And yet my girlfriends gasp in shock.
So I ask them 'Don't you masturbate?'
'Oh my god, NO! I have a husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/ lover (insert appropriate text)"
And I think...is there something wrong with me?
Am I depraved? Deprived most certainly. But I ENJOY pleasuring myself.
Even when I've been IN relationships, I've always continued to masturbate.
Why?
Because I CAN give myself an orgasm in 30 seconds flat.
Because I know my body intimately, what pressure and touch and sensation...turns me on.
I understand the intricacies and magnificence of my body...and I enjoy playing captain damn it!
Although I have some issue with my body size at times.
I think, and have always thought that my body itself is magnificent.
Not neccessarily the shape or structure...but they way it's built for absolute pleasure.
Orgasms are wonderful...oui.
But our sensory systems are magnificent.

Is it SO taboo...that not only will we not admit to it.....but we'll feel ashamed and mortified that another person could think such a thing about us?
