This episode kind of made me question the show even more about its authenticity. Khloe keeps emphasising that the show is not scripted but it is hard to believe this when most of situations seemed to be staged. First of all, who knew Kris smoked? For a moment I though the producers made her a new plot line where she smoked but it seems like she has a cigarette with her wine every night. That was unexpected. I would get so pissed if my children poured water on me outside and inside the house but I guess it was all for the show. The next thing that puzzled me was Kourtney admitting that the cigarettes were for her 14 year old sister. What was that all about? It is still illegal to provide cigarettes to underage people or were the honey and marshmallow cigs not considered in this category? Weird. This also leads to another issue. Would Kris not know by smell that it was not a real cigarette or do they smell the same? However, I did like how she 'freaked' out. That was fun to watch.
Kim and her botox was the other main story line in this episode. The scene where the sisters and Kris were having lunch cracked me up. Kris was teasing Kim about her 'wrinkles'/white hair and Kim retaliated by mocking her saggy skin under the chin and asking if it was Thanksgiving. I don't know much about botox but you should never underestimate side effects. It was pretty contradictory when Kim said she had a high level tolerance of pain and once she got her injections, she did not stop complaining once.
This show is still breaking records and I can see why, it is addicting!!
Lady Gaga appeared at the VMA's with a meat dress on which was OK because she dresses to shock people. Her reasons for wearing the dress is that she is fighting for what she believes in and if we didn't do that then "we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat." Then later on she went to Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about it but Ellen is a vegan. Yes, you can see the problem there. Did you think it was too much or would you say that it is Gaga, she can pull it off?
Here is what Ellen has to say about Gaga when interviewed by Ryan Seacrest.
P.s. I know I am posting a lot more now. It is simply because I am nearing my mid-sem break and I don't want to study for my presentation on Thursday. And I like posting!!
I have always liked the original song but I couldn't listen to it too much because I would get sentimental and sad. The new version performed by Beyonce, Jay-Z and Eminem really did not make me feel that way. It is modern but classic at the same time so I really liked this version. Check it out.
I watched it last night and I was right. Some scenes were really intriguing but the rest was just bland and tasteless. Bill is so weak. Eric was good. The fight with the queen was ridiculous. Who knew vamps could fly? I am not liking Lafayette's story but I do like how Jesus is a witch. That was funny. Terry's scene was pointless. I do not think Sam killed his brother, did you? Seth does but I think he would not kill another person again for stealing his money. He should know better. Russell will be back next season, awesome but how will this go down? How the hell did Eric get out of cement? Weird. Sookie is annoying and so is Tara. I really like it when Alexander Woo writes the script but unfortunately he didn't. It was Alan Ball. Hmmm. They should really step it up next season. I am not aching as much for the next season as before. I can do without.
I haven't been able to watch the finale of Season 3 yet but I have to say that this season has gone so slowly, same with the plot. There were some really great scenes but most of them have been disappointing me and quite frankly I am disappointed overall. When I first watched True Blood, I could not stop watching and kept obsessing with the characters but now, I watch it because I watch it (if that makes any sense). I am wondering if it is just me or other people are feeling it too. Seth is with me on this and he is definitely looking forward to the new season of Dexter. I am too but I am afraid that the story is going to be about Dexter maybe getting caught all the time. Maybe it is because I loved the first season so much!
This is highly unusual. Two teenagers (around18) participated in the contest to win X Factor but in a way that was utterly embarrassing. Before they got on stage, the two girls got a little bit arrogant and started thinking highly of themselves. When they got on stage they immediately got off on the wrong foot. They called one of the judges "old", like grandpa old. They even got into a little fight with the audience because they started boo-ing. It obviously wasn't going to be a surprise if they had heard themselves sing. I was so happy Simon Cowell was the one who had to deal with them, they were so horrible. When Natalie said their singing was horrible, one of the girls asked who she was. That was when the other best friend had enough of her friend's catty mouth and decided to knock her in the face. That was a major LOL moment. You would have to watch it for yourself to believe this. Apparently they had to be taken apart off stage too. Haha, hilarious!
I never thought that during tennis matches fights would break out but apparently it does! Some altercation was seen between a woman and a young man but was later broken up by an elder man who took action against this young man. They eventually both fall down and more people become involved. What the most funniest part is the commentating of the guy who was filming this. I had to keep playing it over and over again. It was surprising that this had happened and wonder what caused this.
It happened about 3 days ago when Samantha Ronson's dog, Cadillac attacked and killed a Maltese as well as biting the owner. Apparently Cadillac got out of Sam's apartment and was roaming in the hallway when he saw the Maltese, Tiger without a leash. I am quite saddened by this story as I can't imagine what Sam is going through. I, myself am so attached to my dog and could never ever let someone put him to sleep. She has since shipped Cadillac to the East Coast to stay with her family. It is so unfortunate that Tiger passed away. It makes me think about what would happen if my dog got out but the only thought that would pop up is that he will scare the dog and the owner, not attack them. I am fortunate to have a dog that is well trained and disciplined because if he ever bit someone, it would not take long for him to finish them. There was this one time when Benji got out of my garden by accident and I didn't realise he was gone until I saw my backgate wide open. I panicked and rushed out in my pyjama's to get him and luckily he was just roaming around the dog park nearby because he wanted to play. I was so lucky because if there were to be another loose dog, he would have followed the dog and god knows where he would go.
When everything was nice and peaceful. Jacqueline looked so bad in this episode. It looked like she was busting out of her dress. Caroline was the only classy one in this picture although I do reckon she is kind of a passive bully.
I think so too. I live in Sydney and the only TV shows I watch are Criminal Minds, news, rugby union and Today Tonight/Home and Away because it clashes with dinner time. I basically watch all my other favourite shows online!
I think as a story overall for season 3 it was crap because it did not really go anywhere except for introducing characters after characters. This chapter hasn't really closed in my opinion, it feels to me that there are more episodes to come in this season. It could be because of the finale but it was more of an introductory season as opposed to a real season such as 1 or 2. Thanks for your opinion and nicely written paragraph, much more professional than mine!
Scripted for sure. Audrina Patridge was such a bad actress when she was arguing with Kristin over JB. That was so fake. We all know that Kristin and JB got set up by the show anyways. And Spencer, he is probably the most genuine on the show being himself which is a lunatic.
Hey Fog, thanks for commenting. I know what you are talking about. Every celebrity that signs on to PETA still continue to use animal products such as alligator handbags and snake's skin shoes. It is very sad to identify that yet they are spokesmodels for anti-animal cruelty. That is why Joaquin Phoenix is a great example, not because he is doing this but he is also a vegan. It is great to see celebrities like him opening up about this.
