Put aside for a moment the huge gamer uptake of the new RPG evony; you need to really take a look at why this MMORPG title has been growing so quickly and why it is soon to reach 2 million online gamers.

The reason?

Quite simply the game they call Evony has set a new benchmark in terms of standards for free online web based gaming.

There were a few select titles in the past, travian online, habbo hotel, games that had huge uptake but were not quite there.

Evony has conquered or will soon conquer this market and it's based on great graphics, amazing graphics really considering its totally browser based and the depth of the game is impressive considering it's free.

Evony Userbase

The Evony userbase is set to see even more expansion after the makers of the popular free browser game have begun to target the previously untapped market of gamers in the workplace.

Offices around the world have workers sitting idle, usually playing windows based card games or something similar. These potential gamers are unable to get into the likes of a full blown MMORPG because it requires constant browser attention. This is where Evony is different.

With evony, the building and creation of your empire does not need complete attention. You can click to build, attack etc - and the makers have realised this.

Now, they are offering the free web game to workers who can play unnoticed and still be a gaming force in the popular game.

Evony has surpassed 1 million gaming users and is set to smash the 2 million barrier in now time at the current rate. It continues to be the fastest growing Online Games Free RPG style title on the market (with optional pay for play, game coin style too)

An update on evony, a new promotion and new user introduction guide from leading game review site curse has now been put online and will help new users get a feel for the game and they can receive advice before they look at purchasing evony game coins.

Evony users

The new smash hit game evony from makes out of China UMGE looks to have stopped off the huge initial growth from it's large advertising campaign to kick off the smash hit MMORPG game.

With users from the USA and other smaller parts of the world getting a piece of the Evony action - the initial user gaming explosion was around 500,000 users but this now looks to have stopped off and while some believe that users inside the evony game may have reached 1,000,000 - this has yet to be confirmed by UMGE or Wowmine the backers of the project themselves

Civony

Civony was the original name for the blockbuster MMORTS free browser game from UMGE that eventually took on the final release game name of Evony.

Its unknown whether the name change from civony to evony was forced due to its conflict with Sid Meiers Civilization or something similar

Evony Help

The best source of Evony help is from the leaders of the various alliances. Just like the majority of MMORPG online games, clans or alliances are formed between players and the leaders of the evony alliances have by far the most prestige and experience to help new players.

Gamers who are essentially newbies in Evony while initially not offering much in the way of attacking prowess, are sought after by clans as eventually when the gamer grows his city or becomes higher in the rankings he becomes more valuable to clans

A great new competition is being run by UMGE the makers of Evony Online. To encourage more users to get involved in their current smash hit MMORPG online free browser game Evony, UMGE have created a 'Queen of Evony' photo competition.

Submit a photo of a female (preferably dressed as a queen or maiden) and holding a sign saying 'Evony' and submit your picture to win
