Self improvement is a very big industry, for good reason too. It is a good thing to want to make yourself into a better person and to become the best that you can be. There are a lot of books that will provide some of the best common sense and practical pieces of advice. A lot of people have actually turned their lives around with the help of these books. However, not every self help book is a good and helpful book.
There are some books that may actually be a little too good to be true. There are books with titles that are unbelievable like "Never be Lied to Again." Let's face it, you will always be lied to by someone. This is just how it works. There will always be someone that lies to you.
There are also books about reading people. I always find myself interested in these books. However, these books seem to manage to complicate and oversimplify the matter at the same time. Some of these books seem to say that you are able to read people just by looking at the positions of their hands or feet or even facial expressions.
However, self improvement is a great industry. It is very important to participate in. Growth is good and you have got to learn and grow as much as you can.
