Seeing Florida - Number One

Hello! Welcome to my first blog, of my first blog series that I'm going to call "Seeing Florida". I have never done anything like this before so I will be learning as I go along with this series. The idea here is that I will just post some pictures that I have personally taken here in the state of Florida of things that are Florida. There will be pictures of beaches, sunsets, animals, people, boats, amusement parks, etc...and I will probably include more than one photo per post. I also want to have a post every day so this will be a challenge for me to keep up on this. Fortunately I do have a backlog of pictures to last me for a little bit but I'm going to have to get out there and get snapping with the camera's to keep this going all the time.
I am not a professional photographer. I am getting better and learning more and that's one of the reasons why I want to do this: to better myself and learn more about photography.
So, here it is, post #1 and the photo's.........Which is of my current hometown: Madeira Beach, Which is on the gulf coast west of Tampa and south of Clearwater. These pictures were taken with a Canon Powershot a720is.
