Seal Team Six member down and out
February 12th 2013 18:46
It was known as this amazing raid where U.S. elite soldiers under the cover of darkness swept in and took out bin Laden. The news was a surprise to many and caught the country off guard. People were ecstatic around the globe not knowing if this type of mission would actually come to fruition. Today however, the man who took out Osama is living a less than spectacular life. The Unknown Soldier has no job, no pension and struggling to survive in this rough economy. Only a few friends and military personnel know that he was the man that killed America’s most wanted terrorist. This man could have sold his stories for millions to book companies and even video games but has instead kept his vow of silence out of respect for his craft/profession.
This story is very unfortunate because this man should be considered a national hero and is instead struggling to pay his bills.Your text goes here If the government doesn’t want his story to go public that’s fine but the man should at least be entitled to a well paying job! They could give him a civilian job working for the government why not the Department of Defense? This story reminds me of when Vietnam Veterans came back with two purple hearts and horrific injuries only to be unemployed and possibly homeless. We need to get our veterans back to work as quickly as possible as they have given so much for our nation.
