My ex-girlfriend and I broke-up over 8 months ago and I still cant let her go. I want to be friends more than anything! I just cant imagine having any sort of life without her. We agreed that it was a mutual break-up but in reality I was forced to agree because she seemed so unhappy being in a relationship with me. In all honesty I guess we grew apart. There were no major dramas or arguments that led to our fall out. It just happened and Im so lost as to why. She means the world to me and Im going crazy without her.
I dont want to look possessive or jealous or desperate. All I really want to be is friends, if nothing else is possible. Do you think 8 months is a long enough waiting period?
Any suggestions???
