About Me
I am a science research student in Queensland, Australia with a passion for making science accessible for the general population. Public interest in science is essential for implementation of new discoveries and encourages the next generation of little scientists to question the world around them.

Very nice Don't forgot some of the more imaginative species and genus names as well. First to come to mind is Ninjameys and for those that don't know latin (surely not!) meys is latin for turtle. There has also been a Batman (fish) and a Leonardo davincii (moth).
Another classic that comes to mind, but the specifics esape me, was the naming of a fungus after one of the discoverers peers, something tells me he wasn't much liked
