For the conscious people, we love yogurt and other stuff like unpasturized milk right? Hmmm…let me tell you that its not that safe.

Food borne bacteria outbreaks have been linked with raw milk products. We know that in pasteurization, it involves heating raw milk to 72 C for 15secs to kill any present bacteria. This is done in Australia where pasteurization is a must but some anti-pasteurization crusaders asserts that such process reduces milk’s nutritional value and that basic modern hygiene practices ensure the safety of raw milk.


Thankfully, there are organic dairy farms scattered throughout the country that raises their cows on pasture and produce high quality milk without risking human and environmental well being. This is our middle ground, organic dairy. Look for organic dairy items in health stores and some supermarkets.
