I have a new camera! I ended up for the time being getting the next model up from the camera I had. I had all the get up for it and so on so it was an easy choice, plus I know the general layout of the camera (or so I thought!) etc.
Daz thinks I've become addicted to my camera and keep chuckling whenever he sees me holding it. I'm not sure if Daz might have a point though. Every thing I see I look at it and how I could get a good photo of it, or I'm looking at different ways of experimenting with the camera.
Yes I know I need help. *laugh*
It seems though that nowadays just taking a photo isn't all you have to do... you have to experiment with the photo in Photoshop and it's like, which can be fun but also a real headache when you are like me and have no idea about these programmes, heck I just use Paint to re-size my photos that's my limits usually. Thankfully a lot of these sites offer you a 30 day free trial which I've been finding is at the moment long enough to drive me crazy.
When we eventually sell the flat though I have decided that I would love to look into photography more, I've loved looking at the results I've gotten from my new camera and sad as it may sound I am already planning trips out when Callum starts school full time to experiment.
Now to show you some of my "new" photos.
Even though this one is a bit blurry it's the first time I've attempted to take a photo like this, so I'm quite chuffed.
The other week I woke up and it was beautiful blue skies with a few clouds blanketing the early morning sun and a few rays trying to escape. Somehow I ended up with this photo.
And continuing my love of clouds... I snapped this photo out the back of our flat on the fire-escape and solarized it. (It's not rude what I did, honest!)
And of course I have to show off that beautiful boy of mine.
This was him the other Monday on one of those inflatable slides, it was our local Town Show. The other one is of Callum fast asleep on my lap tonight, I was trying to capture those long eyelashes of his.
I'm probably going to drive everyone crazy with photos so I'll apologise now.

Your clouds on fire photo looks a bit spooky.
The B & W one of Callum is gorgeous.

Flashes of memories
ah feel free to drive us crazy... I`m being driven crzy because I`m still not getting your notifications ~taps foot in annoyed manner~
ooooh catching little buzzy insects in flight is certainly a patience killer huh?? That one of the bee is great! Look forward to seeing heaps more.
I LOVE my camera.... LOVE IT! In fact if I go somewhere and my batteries run out or whatever and I can`t take any pics it actually spoils the experience for me coz I`m just looking at everything going, oooh that would make a great pic... oh that would make an excellent pic.!
Snap away.
