I haven't posted much in a while. So here is a much waited update.

I got my hosting set up, which is fabulous and free. Plus it allows me to make money using it. It. It is just as good as a paid one.

I had some issues finding a good theme, and then I had a hard time setting it up right. So today I just installed a new theme and it works!

More updates soon.

New Exciting Project For Me!

June 21st 2009 19:34
Well I found a forum post about creating a blog for free and turning it into a money maker. So I am going to try it! I will cover it both here and my other tech blog, so stay tuned to this fun and exciting new project!

BTW-I will be putting my steps here for anyone and also feel free to give tips. I look forward to doing this and please feel free to join in this fun.

Rules-
1:I will not spend a dime on a thing! No paying to promote, domains or hosting(I will use a free domain and hosting plan, I'll give you the links tomorrow). If this doesn't work, then I won't feel bad about spending money!
2:Must be Wordpress, easy to use and expand the site.
3:Adsense will be my first tool for money making on it.
4:I will post here and on my other blog my updates
5:No auto-surfs or things like entrecard will be used,
6EO and social networking will be my main source of marketing for free.

I might add rules as time goes and be sure to come back for updates.

Will you join?

Domain Name Issues

June 6th 2009 19:08
So, most of you do not know that I run two other sites(one by myself and another on Blogatize). Well the one I run all by myself, and just recently moved it to a self hosted wordpress page. Since I wanted a short url, I also bought a domain name via Godaddy.com, as I heard they were the best.

Well, I bought it and started forwarding it to my site-thinking thats how its done, since it did work that way with free domains that I have used before. However that is not the case! I had to change nameservers and lets hope that it works!

I'll keep ya posted.

Revenue Sharing Update

June 5th 2009 18:41
As some of you know, I joined this site as more of a project thingy than to be serious. Just because I didn't think all that much about it and all. Well, I am a little shocked here.

I checked my adsense account and saw that I had more than I thought I would. Now I have only been using this site for close to a week(give or take a little), but I am pleased to see that thus far it appears to be working a little. Now I have hopes that I will do better and I hope to see this site grow and find more gigs in time. However I am pleased with thus far into it

Careless Commenters

June 2nd 2009 13:54
I am what you call a pro-blogger. I write for many blogs-some I own and others I was hired for. But I do have one grip about blogging!

When I log on to my email, I get updates on who comments on my own blogs due to a service called Intense Debate(which I highly recommend!)-so when I get spammed with rude and unhelpful comments, I can delete them

I will admit that we bloggers do make most of our money via advertising(much like radio, magazines and newspapers-which is all drying up quickly for most media). It sucks, since we have to have our reades either click or buy something-and we all know that takes time! So when I was reading Audience Magazine, they said that paid content is making a comeback for websites and bloggers-I was a little shocked. But I guess they are onto to something.

GigaOm the tech blog has announced they will start selling subcriptions along with their free access to all their blogs in their network. They will charge $79.00 per year for their premium content. Their CEO said that he felt they needed to take a chance with it, because he felt that new media networks needed more than one source of income. Which that does make sense, and I do agree with him on that

Google's Knol

May 27th 2009 18:24
Since I lost my "VIP" status there(which is funny, because the VIP bloggers do not make much money at all), I cannot log on my old site. So I will be reposting my older post here.

Enjoy

This is my second attempt, if you will at a paid blogging type site. My first one, well wasn't what I wanted exactly!

Here's the story, I joined Today.com(back when they promised that you get $1.00 per 100 word post for a year?). I was working hard at it, then they kept changing their paying policy. At first I stayed with it, then I realized that with all these changes it wasn't worth the little money I could make with them. So I left
