Go Green or Die

September 28th 2009 16:57
The Green Evolution is on the rise but isn't it a few decades too late??? We have yet to depend on the natural sources of energy and fuel that were placed here by the Creator. We would rather take the costly and health declining alternatives to life. Did it just occur that sugar cane and corn is a source in the production of ethanol or that solar panels and wind generators can produce energy??? Of course not, we have been aware that the sun was a source energy forever, but we have become complacent with the so-called "man made ways of living."

We have been ran by a government that would rather spend trillions on a war than to invest into solutions that would reduce cost and provide healthlier alternatives to our living and mobility.

"Indie Artists Are Making Big Moves"

August 3rd 2009 15:52
The music industry has taken a downward turn with the economy in the respect to album sales, but is it the economy or the similarities in the sounds. Many music lovers have turned to the sounds of indie artists for their music pleasure. Whether the genre is country or hip hop, indie artists and indie record labels are on the rise. Each genre is bringing fresh faces and fresh sounds to the spotlight. Many sites have become a gateway for indie artists to get their music streaming around the globe. Myspace, youtube, blackplanet, and many other sites have their sites filled with options to accompany some of the promotional needs of indie artists from video uploading to music uploading.

Ok, I have gotten several emails in regards to my previous topics and I must say thanks to each of you for the support. And I promise to each of you to write more. So for your pleasure here we go again......

Open your minds and eyes and proceed....

We live in a country that has several downsides and one of our most famous departments of ignorance is the justice system. Rapper T.I. is serving a year and one day in prison for purchasing guns and Michael Vick is serving a nearly two year sentence (23 months) for dogfighting. T.I. didn't kill anyone and Michael Vick was stripped of everything that he worked hard for, due to a dead dog. Is this logical????? Of course not, because NFL player Donte Stallworth drove overly intoxicated in his Bentley in Florida after a night of partying, veered off the road and killed a construction worker as the victim sat waiting for a bus and luckily, he was ordered a lifetime driving suspension which after 5 years will be upgraded to limited driving privileges..... So how is it a lifetime suspension???? Not to mention that Mr. Stallworth will be responsible for paying $2500 to "Mothers Against Drunk Driving" and an undisclosed amount of money to the family of the victim. Oh yeah, he must also complete 1000 hours of community service and remain on house arrest for 2 years after completing his 30-day prison sentence.

Mr. Stallworth got a slap on the wrist for killing someone's father, uncle, cousin or in best terms a "human being" and Michael Vick is nearly broke and serving time for dogs. I know that each of you reading this have as much respect for our justice system as I do

"White America"

June 2nd 2009 19:13
Lets be serious.....

Many years ago, laws were created by officials of whom were white, every president before 2008 was white, 99% of all Higher Authority over our land until the last 10-20 years has been white, so why is it that everything said, wore or otherwise done by the Obama Camp seems to have backfire every day in the media. Whether you're African American, Asian, Hispanic, Jamaican or otherwise, if you live in the United States of America, you live, work and pay taxes to a country that is based on 100 year old laws that your ancestors had no right to vote for. So whose law is it and why are we forced to live by it? We all serve as slaves to a country that our ancestors have built but we are left to pay taxes on everything within it. Get a job...pay taxes, buy a car....pay taxes, buy land....pay taxes, buy a house....pay taxes, buy groceries, pay utilities....pay taxes. Our entire being is based on paying for higher authority to control how much of our money that they are obligated to. Read that again, it's fact!!! We have quickly forgotten that the world is in an economic downfall because of President Bush and that many of our Americans have died fighting a senseless war for a country that has the money to pay off companies and the expenses of white collars who have awarded themselves with million dollar bonuses while doing nothing more than living off of tax payers money, and those same people will allow fallen soldiers' families to become homeless

"Defining Tax"

April 2nd 2009 18:48
Today, I will start a series of topics that seem very comical to me. Each topic comes from what we have been taught to believe is the normal way of life.

Today's Topic: What is a tax????

"Stimulus Decisions"

February 6th 2009 14:00
Hello blog community!!! Interesting isn't it---how hard it is for our government to help out tax paying citizens in this time of economic crunch. Insane it is that we work and pay taxes so that CEOs and other top collars of the companies that employ us can receive million dollar bonuses and take extravagant trips, while in turn the government soaks up the ticket with a bail out plan. So what happened to bailing out the citizens who deserve it, why is this such a hard decision?? The government bailed out companies and the companies laid off workers. So what happens now??? Do we as citizens simply continue to crumble as survival gets tougher, be homeless because we are unable to prevent foreclosure, endure the lost of friends and family members due to suicide, or do we stand behind "CHANGE." Change is not an overnight conquerable obstacle, but it can direct us as a country back up the ladder of comfortable living.

"O.J. Goes To Jail"

December 6th 2008 00:02
Many are upset, others are happy about the jury's decision to send O.J. Simpson to jail. O.J. was sentenced to no less than 9 years and up to 33 years in prison for his actions in a Las Vegas hotel room on September 13, 2007. He was found guilty by the jury and sentenced by Judge Jackie Glass, who repetitively acknowledged that her decision was not based on Mr. Simpson's 1995 acquittal in the murder case of Simpson's ex-wife and her boyfriend. The Goldmans' were more than happy with the decision, a point that was made clear by the Goldmans during a news interview after the court proceedings. O.J. Simpson is now a 61-year old man, how much time will he spend in prison? We do not know. Is this karma for O.J.? We do not know. What we do know is that O.J. committed a crime by taking weapons and an entourage to recover items that belonged to him. So O.J. will spend the next 9 to 33 years in prison for robbing someone of his own belongings. This could have been handled differently and all could have been avoided. Though it's all totally INSANE and a case of pure stupidity to me!!!

"Presidential Election 2008"

October 23rd 2008 19:37
Hello, it's been a few weeks since I have blessed you all with my presence!!! Just kidding!!! The decision of our lives will be before us in less than 2 weeks and we as a people, as a country, as God's seeds of the Earth must make a wise decision. I just hope that each individual makes their decision based on FACTS. It is time for change, it's time that more attention be given to the 40 hour a week laborers and tax payers who don't see salaries that consist of hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. We have all been hurt by the economic conditions that our government have inflicted upon our livelihoods, so make sure that you take your right to vote seriously.

"Healthier America"

September 2nd 2008 18:31
As many of us attempt to improve our health and our country, we are going green, exercising regularly, and taking on better eating habits, but we have not considered the advancements of massage. Massage is very important to our health as it relieves stress and tension and gives our immune system some empowerment!!!

We need to consider that stress can lead to strokes and heart attacks, and adding massage into our exercising and eating trends can improve us in many ways. And to save some cash, why not learn massage ourselves??? Learning massage techniques will make the massage therapists mad but will make our bodies happy!!! Many instructional guides are available, so find one that is best for you and improve your health today
