Rusty Keys

Two birds locked forever in separate cages.

Rooms filled with moonlight and star bright
And the streaming darkness of day.

The hands that can set them free,
Bound tightly by links of cold chain.

A lone piano plays a lovers tune,
The velvet softness of a rose on skin.

A rusty key unlocks passionate heat.
