Rouble drop rate - Vampire Wars

July 30th 2010 11:57
Just got home from work and have been clicking away for about 90 minutes. (Such a fun game.)

These are the stats I've got so far. It's quite possible Zynga will change the drop rates later on, making it easier (or harder) to get roubles.

Doing the Adept-level mission "Save a vampire from hunters":

-- Number of clicks/missions: 659
-- Number of roubles: 536
-- Average energy cost per rouble: 12.3 points of energy

It's harder to get roubles than it was to get voodoo dolls or Mandyland tickets. One big factor is that the drop sizes seem to be smaller. So far, I haven't once got an 8-rouble, 9-rouble, or 10-rouble drop -- they only seem to come in bundles of 1 to 7 roubles each time. Also, so far, 1-rouble drops seem to be the commonest, but maybe this is just because I haven't go much data yet.

For New Orleans's three chapters, you needed 1344 dolls to complete everything. If you need the same number of roubles for the next event, then you'd have to spend 16,532 points of energy to get them from mission drops alone.

For Mandyland's six chapters, it was 3075 tickets. If we need the same number of roubles, it would be 37,823 points of energy.

Closer to the portal opening, Zynga has previously started selling 60-item bundles from the Collector, so there's been a question of whether, if you want to get as many mission items as possible, you should get a dead bull, or buy the 60 tickets or dolls directly.

Well, with roubles, so far, it seems that if your normal total max energy is higher than 1476... let's round it off to 1500... you should get a dead bull. Otherwise, you'd get more roubles on average from buying the 60 directly.

By the way, mobsters and other types of minions seem to be freely available again from the feed -- it's not just card sharks and petvillians.
