Australian TV (RJHH) - by C-Blog

The humor is still there.

September 21st 2006 13:47
After just watching tonight's episode of RJHH, I am relived to know that the show still hasn't lost its touch.

The timeslot doesn't seem to affect the quality of the humour in the show. The scenarios where hilarious, for anyone that missed it you can log onto the official website and catch some of the better clips from tonight's (and previous) show. It's good to see the fresh material has taken such a original place on channel 10.

Even though the chopper skit was a little dull, it still managed to make laugh. Heath (writer/actor/chopper impersonator) still has it, and brings the character to life with his sarcastic views on everyday life. I am positive the chopper skits are only going to get better.

The 'naughty lesbian' skit on tonight's show was hilarious, and the follow up skit which had heath explaining that lesbian jokes weren't funny, along side a sign that said something like "actually their hilarious" was topped off when he came out with "Oh?! lesbians can see?!" ... Yes, it's funnier to watch it rather than read it, but either way, the show is still alive and kicking.

Great show, DO NOT miss it next week!

(If you happen to be in a country that doesn't get the show on air - you can catch some of the clips on the official homepage.)

i saw the show tonight, first time i had watched it, and i reckon it wasnt as good as wat i had heard and it didnt live up to expectations, especially with the chopper skit. Ive seen all the other chopper skits from e-mails and i reckon they were great but i watched the show tonight, and the only thing that kept me watching was that chopper was gonna be on at some point. He wasnt on till the very last thing and it wasnt as good as i hoped. I think ill stick to watching foxtel from now on.. normal tv is never as good as foxtel.

well im off

Each too his own, I agree with you on a certian level. As a first time veiwer, I can imagine the show wasn't that appealing, but after a while the cynical humor begins to sink in. It acutally becomes quite funny when they bring back previous issues they've based their skits on - and do something different with it.
The chopper skits will always be classic, simply because they are original. If the positions had of been swaped, and the season 2 chopper skits were the ones seen early in season 1 - would they have made as good of an impression ?..
