Rihanna "We Found Love"

That Rihanna just keeps on pumping out new music! With seven singles having been released from her album Loud (and that’s not even including the collaborations with other artists that she has done!), Rihanna’s new single “We Found Love” is the lead single from her new album Talk That Talk, which will be released worldwide in November.

Featuring Calvin Harris, who has worked with Rihanna on the album, “We Found Love” is a great slice of electro-pop (always to be expected from Mr Harris!)

Rihanna certainly doesn’t mind causing a bit of controversy, as proven with the video for “We Found Love”. To start with, filming of the video was halted when the owner of the field in Northern Ireland where they were shooting expressed his concern and distaste at the fact that Rihanna was exposing her breasts! But most of the controversy comes from the video’s storyline of drug taking, rave parties and domestic violence, which of course has everyone asking the Chris Brown questions.

Personally I love this song (although I still think “Only Girl (In the World)” has been her best song!) and it just makes me want to get up and dance! But after watching the video, it really brought the haunting side to the lyrics out and I almost feel depressed when I watch the video as makes the found love seem so hopeless! Certainly a hard video to watch, when the dance groove of the song kicks through your body!

Rihanna’s new album Talk That Talk will be released in Australia on November 18, with the UK and the US following on November 21, 2011.

Check out the video for “We Found Love” below and make sure you let me know what you think! Is it a case of art imitating life?
