A mother is more than a woman who gives birth
She is the nurturing element in a person’s life
Tías, abuelas, sisters
Queers, transgendered, teen moms, foster moms…
Can all embody the notion of Motherhood

Revolutionary Mothers
Embody a sense of purpose, love and drive
She’s the mujer who seeks justice for her community, familia, and herself
The one who is revolutionary in her actions and beliefs
by creating a life that is abundant and fulfilling

What a beautiful voice,
That of a Revolutionary Mama
Can we hear more of her?
That colorful, honest, raw voice
Who advocates change so that her children’s future & present can
THRIVE
