Review: Funky Brews. Melbourne Funk Band (LINK)

Ultra Funky and entertaining are the two first thoughts that come to mind watching Funky Brews live.
Possibly, Melbournes top Funk Band. A big band that consists of, Lead vocals, bass, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, drums, saxophone and keyboard.
With awesome pop and slap bass from Callum, a major backbone in the funky sound that stems from Funky Brews. Soulfully composed music that can be easily charted with it's dimensional sounds and forever changing beats and melody.
Funky Brews have found the genuine Funk sound that majority of bands may struggle to truly capture. Upbeat toe tapping and dancy through to funky and smooth chillout zones then back again. The lead vocals of Funky brews have a Jamiroquai feel yet with his own tones and feel. A musical roller coaster of well thought out, composed and structured coolness.
Cooleness is definitely the key word when it comes to Funky Brews. Cool and smooth, Funky Brews know how to groove. Beyond being great live performance entertainers, their music is radio friendly and only time will tell their value to all digital and radio airplay.
Funky Brews will leave you feeling energetic and you will know you have been entertained by the best. An unfound band who are new to the scene, yet never fail to create waves wherever they go.
