Revenge is a dish best served cold

I don't know how it was for anybody else, but when I heard sometime ago that John Dyson was to coach the West Indies team, the first thing that popped into my mind was the irony of it all. Here was an average batsman who played 29 tests and like many players of his era, his career was ruined by the brute force of the West Indies. As it so happens now he is going to coach the same (in name only) team that consigned him to the rubbish bin of Australian cricketing history. How delightfully ironic yet how tragically sad for the state of West Indian cricket when they can't even find a local coach good enough.
