Wow, October was my last post. My poor neglected blog ... I promise to write more next year!!
Well here we are again, as John Lennon says ".Another year over, a new one just begun" or about to begin in this case. I have to make something clear here - I don't like New Year. You won't find me woo wooing come 12 on New Year's Eve or doing Auld Lang Syne in the street with the neighbours. Nope not me. I will be sitting in, with a glass of something, probably watching Jool's Holland and eating something.(before I spend a month regretting it and going all nil by mouth) Why? Well, we are all another year older, (albeit in most cases another year wiser) - New Year means a long wait to summer, and warm days, being skint and waiting for pay day and all the sparkling lights and glitter of the month of December are taken down and put away for another year - to me January seems just dull, wet, cold and well downright grey. Also if your year has been great, you don't want it to end, and if it has been, well, not so good (we have all had them) all you really want to do is move on and forget it - putting two fingers up to it and saying off you go[ Click here to read more ]
