Ranked teams fall in key conference games

A three-pointer from Michael Snaer of Florida State gave the Seminoles a huge road win at fourth-ranked Duke.. Fifth-ranked Missouri held on in the final moments to defeat third-ranked Baylor on their home-court. 13th-ranked Connecticut fell in the final moments to Tennessee. And now, top-ranked Syracuse is in trouble versus Notre Dame.
With just over ten minutes left in the game, the Fighting Irish hold a 17-point lead on Syracuse. The Orangemen are one of two teams in the nation without a loss on the season. 12th-ranked Murray State out of the Ohio Valley Conference remains the other. The Racers are set to play Southern Illinois later today.
20th-ranked Michigan also fell on Saturday in a road game at Arkansas. The Razorbacks led by BJ Young beat the Wolverines, 66-64. Michigan with the loss fell to 15-5 on the year. Arkansas improved to 14-5.
Florida State after beating Duke, has now defeated the two best teams in the ACC. Is it time to talk about Florida State being better then North Carolina and the Blue Devils? Last Saturday, Florida State beat North Carolina by 33. The Seminoles are now 13-6 on the season, and Duke is 16-3.
Missouri held off a furious rally by Baylor in the final moments to preserve the win in Waco, Texas. The Bears have now lost two straight games after winning 17 straight. Missouri improved to 18-1 on the year behind a great game from Ricardo Ratliffe who scored 27 points. Quincy Miller's 29 points for Baylor wasn't enough as the Bears lost again. Baylor previously lost to Kansas on Monday.
Tennessee defeated Connecticut by three points, 60-57. The Volunteers are now 9-10 on the year. A terrible 36% shooting day propelled the Huskies to their second straight loss. Connecticut fell to 14-5.
