Palin quits as Governor

July 3rd 2009 22:24
Sarah Palin resigned as Governor of Alaska effective July 26th, in a shocking move. Already the debate has started; did Palin ruin her chances of running for president by walking away from the Governor’s job? She made it fairly clear she has higher goals in politics in her future.

I think she will be going around all the states to let people get to know her. I for one would vote for her right now for President or Vice President. My former favorite Republican has that whole sex scandal going on. I really like Jim DeMint from South Carolina as well as Palin. Those two would be my dream team to whip Obama/Biden in 2012.

Cap and Trade Republicans

June 27th 2009 00:31
The Cap and Trade aka Climate Change and Energy Bill has passed the House and will go to the Senate for Approval. This bill is one more nail in the coffin for the United States of America. Cap and Trade passed the House by the vote of 219-212 with 8 Republicans selling their country to the highest bidder.

The Democrats added on to the bill in the early morning hours then hid the additions so the American Public and the Republicans could not see what the vote was actually for. A short time before the vote they produced the 300 plus page additions, making sure there was no time to read it.

The Republican Traitors to their country are the following. And no traitor is not a strong word. We depend on the Republicans to try to keep the working people safe from attacks by the Democrats. These Republicans turned on their party and our once great nation.

Mary Bono Mack Republican from California

Mike Castle of Delaware

Frank LoBiondo New Jersey

Mike McHugh New York

Dave Reichert of Washington State

Leonard Lance New Jersey

Mark Kirk Illinois

Chris Smith New Jersey

That’s right New Jersey Republicans you have 3 on the list who sold your children to Cap and Trade. Those are the Cap and Trade Republicans that turned on American’s. We need to vote the Cap and Trade Republicans out of office when they run for reelection.

If you want to read this rant in its entirety go here.

North Carolina Congressman Larry Kissell from the 8th district is set to vote no for Cap and Trade. I talked to one of his staff, a guy named Travis about an hour ago. He told me that the position was a definite NO to Cap and Trade. There had been some confusion as WBT in Charlotte was reporting he had voted yes in a test vote. Travis from Congressman Kissell’s staff told me he had never heard of a test vote.

Let’s hope all the North Carolina Congressmen vote no to Cap and Trade. We are in too much trouble with the economy to let the Democrats raise taxes on everything we need to have to live

I think the Pittsburgh Steelers will return to the Super Bowl to represent the AFC after the 2009 NFL season. The Steelers have improved their offensive line a little and should have 3 starting quality running backs for that ground game. They didn’t really lose anyone they can’t replace so I think they will repeat as AFC Champions.

I know Tom Brady is back but I think it will take him a year to get back in top form. The New England Patriots should make the playoffs though. I also think Baltimore and Miami will be playoff teams for the AFC in 2009

Bringing Genocide to America

June 24th 2009 21:53
President Obama is bringing genocide to the United States of America. He has with intent destroyed the U.S. economy and gave money to his friends who put him in office. His Cap and Trade efforts will make sure there are few jobs left in America and Obama Care will kill millions of American Citizens.

The whole thing about a socialized medicine program like Obamacare is that it weeds out the non productive and politically unsavory. You have already seen President Obama shut down car dealerships that didn’t support him. What do you think will happen when somebody politically undesirable needs a new kidney or chemo for cancer? Their ass will die that is will happen

New Writer

June 24th 2009 01:30
In the interest of objectivity I have bitten the bullet and asked a liberal writer to come and speak for the other side. Yes Jim Stillman and I tried that before, it worked well for some time. I have told the new writer I won’t censor or insult him and when we disagree I will say so in a respectful matter.

I have known him for some time from a writer’s forum we both visit and he is the only lib writer I read on a constant basis. His name is Robert and you can see his other work here.

Riot Protection Tips

June 22nd 2009 04:51

Here are some tips to use if you get caught up in a riot. I am writing this mostly for the Iranians who are protesting the election fraud in their country. I claim no expertise other than some fire and first aid training years ago and lots of research for various articles I have written online.

I am looking for a liberal point of view on what is happening in Iran with the riots over Acorn, err Iranian election fraud. Please give me your points of view and thoughts on the following. I ask my conservative friends to weigh in on these topics as well. But I would really appreciate a liberal point of view since I do not think that way on most issues.

Should President Obama use stronger language and add sanctions against Iran over what is going on

Top 5 rookie quarterbacks ever

June 21st 2009 12:55
Seeing Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco in the 2008 NFL Post Season made me wonder, just who are the best rookie quarterbacks in NFL history? It is hard to judge them by just their stats since the ones on great teams would have better stats. I also had trouble not just picking the ones I saw play. After some thought and yes looking at the stats from NFL.com, here is my list of the top 5 rookie quarterbacks of all time.

1 Dan Marino was the best rookie quarterback of all time in my humble opinion. He had a very fast release and put some heat on the ball. Marino as a rookie made the Miami Dolphins instantly better. Dan started 9 and played in 11 games in 1983, his first season

Mike the thing is that the bill just makes it easier to send the jobs over to China which is much worse than the United States on destroying the planet.

The Unholy alliance of Bush/.Obama sold us to the Chinese we just don't know it yet. Forget what they say and look at what they do. There isn't much difference in Obama and Bush.
