Romo out 4 to 5 weeks

October 13th 2008 20:42
Tony Romo broke his pinky in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. He will probably miss between 4 to 5 weeks. Former Super Bowl winning quarterback (with Tampa Bay) Brad Johnson will take over at least for now.

We all know Brad Johnson will play well because he is from North Carolina like myself. Growing up about an hour’s drive away from me. All the great football minds come from North Carolina!

It is possible that the Cowboys could bring in another quarterback and John Kitna is the name being tossed around as the most likely. Look for a heavy dose of Marion Barber as Felix Jones is also injured. Jones is out for at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Obama and his unsavory Associates

October 13th 2008 14:50
How Barack Hussein Obama can be this close to the Presidency of the United States of America sickens and amazes me. We won’t even discuss his inexperience here that is well known. And that can be excused if he would surround himself with quality advisors with the country’s best interest at heart. But he has been advised by crooks and people who hate America. But the “Change” he will bring is ok because he is the Messiah to a bunch of atheists. Let me list the group of scumbags Barack Hussein Obama is or has been associated with.

Now not all of these are current advisors to ole Hussein but some are. And the rest showed he was willing to associate with anyone to further his political career.

William Ayers a former member of a domestic terrorist group responsible for setting off bombs and attacking people who had did them no harm. Yes I know Obama was 8 when Ayers and fellow scum were killing people. But Ayers is unrepentant and never paid for his crime. Obama still was willing to use him to further his political goals. Also Ayers and Obama have teamed up to award money to at least one questionable group.

Jeremiah Wright was Obama’s pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Obama attended this church for over 20 years. But he never once heard Wright’s Anti American, anti Jew or Anti White statements. Do I think Obama is an avid follower? No he used the church for political gains and abandoned it. I think Obama is an Atheist since he complained about Pennsylvanian voters clinging to their guns and religion. Thus he clearly has a problem with Religion or at least Christians.

Heck just read this blog; it is a partial list of Obama’s unsavory associates. Or click here to find out more about Obama’s ties to the vote fraud specialists in Acorn. I could go on and on and but why waste the time. I think everyone has made up their mind about who they will vote for.

If you are undecided and are reading this. Do your own research and make up your mind. I decided a long time ago that McCain is better than Obama and his list of unsavory associates.

Chiefs trading everybody worth having

October 12th 2008 17:06
Ok so it's just Larry Johnson and Tony Gonzalez but they are shopping both of them before the trade deadline. Profootballtalk.com is reporting that Johnson is being shopped.

They are trying to get a 3rd round draft out of the Giants for Tony Gonzalez. I am unsure of what they want for Larry Johnson.

I really wish the Jets or Steelers would make a try for Larry Johnson. Parker is always hurt and Johnson would be a great powerback in the mold of Bettis for the Steelers. However their line sucks and I am not sure if Johnson would like that.

The Jets are making a run for the Super Bowl as they proved by adding a slew of free agents and trading for Bart Starr, er Brett somebody. Jones isn't working out well and Johnson would give them one hell of a weapon.

Arrohead Stadium
Hide the Kitchen Sinks in Arrowhead or they will be traded as well

NFL Picks for week 6

October 12th 2008 15:29
Ok I suck at this with a 37 and 20 record in predictions in the 2008 NFL season. But hell I can’t get much worse so here it is for week 6 of the NFL season.

Chicago at Atlanta

The North Carolina race for Governor is an interesting one this year and I may even vote for Democrat Bev Perdue despite my very conservative leanings. I am still undecided at this time however.

I really like Perdue’s stance on education and the fact that she is a former teacher. As someone with 4 kids I like someone strong on education in North Carolina. She wants to ensure that no kid is left out of college due to finances. Of course North Carolina tax payers would be picking up the tab. But education is one thing I don’t mind my taxes going to pay for

Pacman Jones- Oooops he did it again

October 9th 2008 00:56
Yep Pacman Jones is in deep doo doo once again. According to Profootballtalk.com he got into another fight in a bar. Read their article on the wayward Cowboy here. I expect the NFL to fall in on him like a ton of bricks. If he can’t keep himself out of bars he will soon be behind some.

He has been a decent punt returner since joining the Dallas Cowboys but Packman Jones is not an elite corner by any means. He has been part of the problem with the Cowboys defense not being able to stop the pass

Footballdogz.com is proud to announce our second High School Football Player Spotlight. Landon Freeman is a 6ft 5 inch 185 pound wide receiver, punter and linebacker for Wilkes Central High School in North Carolina. Oh yeah he also puts in time as a long snapper occasionally. On his weight, the info I got from the source is 185 pounds. His Rivals.com profile says 190 pounds.

Landon Freeman has a 37 inch vertical leap, benches 225 and squats 375 pounds and power clean 245 and runs the 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds, according to my information. According to Rivals his college choices are Virginia Tech and Wolford

Update on Dustin Walsh

October 7th 2008 22:32
Footballdogz.com has received an update on our first High School spotlight player, Dustin Walsh. In their last game Dustin added 8 tackles to his totals. Also the coach said his Pancake block totals are over 30 for this season so far.

Also Dustin was contacted by Emory and Henry College in the state of Virginia. Dustin and his parents went up and visited the school and watched the football team play a game. My sources tell me they had a good time. It appears that recruiting efforts for the young man are heating up

The Miami Dolphin Wildcat Formation

October 6th 2008 18:08
There has been a good bit of press about the Miami Dolphin’s “Wildcat Package” and how effective it is. Most teams put their own name on a formation and that is what the Dolphins Wildcat is.

It is a version of the old (very old) single wing offense where the quarterback moves out of position and a running back takes a shotgun snap from center. The other backs will also slide into an unorthodox formation. Head coach Tony Sparano told David Lee (Miami Quarterback’s coach) to run it. According to this article in the Sun-Sentinel Lee had used it at Arkansas. They Raiders have also dabbled with the formation utilizing Darren McFadden, who was in the formation in college at Arkansas

Crybaby McNabb has struck again with a quote being reported by Philly.com/dailynews. "Not taking anything away from them, but there is no way this team is better than us," Said Donovan McNabb about the loss to the Redskins.

Ok Donovan yes the Redskins are a better team than the Eagles. One they beat your team. Two they beat Dallas which your team failed to do, despite a valiant effort to do so. Just shut up and play. The Eagles are a good team but not as good as I thought earlier in the season

I think Keys would have made a good VP choice. And if I thought he had a chance I would vote for him since McCain really is a liberal pretending to be something he isn't. But my vote against Obama isn't race related as the Libs want people to think. I don't like communists of any color, thus I will vote for McCain.

I think I voted straight ticket the first time I ever voted and not since then.
