Random Musings on Life, Love and Everything - by Someone

A Quick Note

July 22nd 2007 01:16
Guys, I'm sorry to say but my internet quota has gone kaput again, and I'm stealing my friend's to let everyone know... Knowing me, I probably won't get any more quota until I'm given some for free at the beginning of next month...

Now look, I know that without me your world really doesn't have any meaning, and I'm sorry that I can't be there to tell you all what to think or how to act... You're just going to have to fend for yourselves for a few days. It'll be hard, and I'm not expecting all of you to make it. But for those of you that do...

I'll see ya'll in about a week... so to speak. Till then... stay cool, stay safe, and write plenty for me to read when I get the internet back again.

Catcha on the flip side, kids. Don't do anything I'd do.

I just wrote this post out TWICE.

And I am so fucking spun out that I'll probably have to start this same post 20 times before I post it.

Fuck.

Took half a tab of acid last night. Wasn't a planned thing, it just sort of happened. It was a fucking intense night... first up, after smoking a fat joint, we decided to to see why there were cops parked on the other side of the oval. Turns out there was a gas leak in one of the buildings right by, and that sort of spun us out a little bit.

On the walk back to college (maybe a 50m walk) we decided to talk to the group of rowdy drunk guys that were drinking at one of our smoking spots. Turns out it was a kiwi highschool rugby team, and fuck those boys were knocking back some booze. They were all fucked in half drunk.

They were playing a very cool rugby drinking game... if you point at someone with a finger, consume. If you don't call someone sister (insert surname), you drink. If you swear, you drink. There were other rules, but I was too spaced out to remember them.

What this meant was, we had a group of guys getting absolutely feral drunk, pointing at each other with their elbows, calling everyone a sister, and using words like budge (sounds an awful lot like bitch with a kiwi accent) so that they wouldn't have to drink any more. Oh yeah, false accusations of breaking the rules was another drinkworthy offence, and there were HEAPS of them flying around.

It was mad. Acid trips and drunk kiwi rugby teams go together like black and white TV.

These boys were fucking champions. We just sat there as our brains fried and watched the proceedings. These boys were wild. They even randomly put on a fucking full on hakka for us, which blew my fucking mind. It was insane.

3 of the rugby boys decided that having a doobie was a capital idea, so we rolled up probably the fattest doobie i've ever smoked, and choofed it in a sick little park spot a little bit into uni.. It was rad. We just sat there, 2 guitars and a singer going off, off our chops.

We headed back to college afterwards, and the rugby boys decided to go get a kebab. Everyone else backed out of the adventure because (to be fair) it was fucking freezing outside. So me and the 3 NZ'ers went for kebabs, which were awesome. After that the NZ'ers decided it was pass out time, so they headed back to the college they were crashing at and I headed back to my college.

I found the rest of the lads listening to music in a mate's room, and we just sat there for ages and ages listening to different music and talking about music and bands and whatnot. Then I watched a bit of casino royale with a couple of guys until they passed out.

Then me and a friend tried to play playstation for a bit. I kept zoning out while we were playing and my friend had to keep snapping me back into it. It was intense. We eventually gave up because we really were not in any state to play playstation. We then crashed out, and I listened to music and tripped out in the dark until eventually I passed out.

What a night.

Buzz Junkie

July 12th 2007 03:38
Buzz junkie, can't get enough. Totally addicted, hooked on the rush.

Buzz junkie, that's what I am. Looking for excitement, where-ever I can.

(side note: brilliant song by Tom Neville, check it out if you're into the whole house scene)

I've been looking for a way to describe myself... I'm not really an alcoholic, but I love getting drunk. I'm not a junkie, but I love taking drugs. I don't feel the need to get fucked up... just an intense want.

A junkie is addicted to one (or maybe more) type of drug. I think I'm addicted to being fucked up. I'm a buzz junkie.

Is that any better or worse than being a junkie? I don't know... it's more of a psychological addiction than a physical one, I suppose. It's definitely easier to live with than a junkie-type addiction. Then again, junkie's can kick the habit, whereas I'm pretty sure this is just a part of who I am. Being a smack junkie isn't ingrained into your personality (at least until after you have tried it) but I think being a buzz junkie is a part of who we are... who I am.

Or I could be wrong. Who knows. A smack junkie would probably have a similar logic about his addiction, I suppose.

Fuckit, too deep and meaningful for a thursday. Today is a dope-smoking drunken-haze type day, I think. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and I'm gonna go get a buzz.

'Til next time: Stay classy, San Diego.

Hidden Meaning

July 10th 2007 08:58
I have gotten into an awful amount of shit (mainly with my best friend) over the topic of hidden meanings, and so I really want to just clear the air here.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I don't do hidden meanings. I just don't

Love

July 9th 2007 15:57
This is an old thought of mine, something I stashed away a lifetime ago and only just recalled... back from the days when I was still sifting through the avalanche of emotions that accompany a breakup/rebound cycle.

Anyhoo

A Tale of 2 Girlfriends

July 8th 2007 11:28
How do you know once a girl has ascended from being merely a fuckbuddy into being a girlfriend? Is it simply a spoken agreement between the 2 parties? If so, if a girl agreed to be my girlfriend and then I never saw her again, does that make her more of a girlfriend to me than a girl who I hang out with all the time and have sex with all the time, but don't have that conscious agreement with?

Enough sidetracking

Big Brother

July 3rd 2007 00:40
One thing that's been on my mind recently has been the responsibilities of big brothers. I am the oldest child of 3 in my family, so I sort of have to wing it in the whole big brother department.

Now, what brought on this train of thought was the discovery that my brother took pingers and smoked dope. Sounds kind of hypocritical of me, I know, but I really didn't want my brother doing that shit. I've had my own experiences and issues with both of these fickle lovers, and well I dunno... I guess I wanted better for my brother. He's 18 now, which is around the time I really got into both of these... and I mean really got into them. Dangerously so, in fact. Anyways

Wipe those tears from your eyes, dear orbleites, for I have returned. Untie those nooses you had hanging up and toss out those razor blades, for your lives now have meaning once again.

The reason I wasn't here was really kind of stupid. I ran out of internet quota, and just didn't have the money floating around for any more, meaning no internet access and no updating. Fuck, eh? Well, thankfully it's the first of the month again, meaning more internet quota and new updates
