One of the best cancelled show ever!


Call me a masochist but I loved the series "Freaks and Geeks." I believe allthough ill-fated, "Freaks and Geeks" was spot on while exploring the humiliation of adolescence. What is unblievable to me was the show's cancellation even though on any given night, the show's audience was 6.5 million strong, and so adoring that viewers eventually bonded together to buy a full-page Variety ad to protest it's cancellation. Set in the Detroit suburbs during the early 80s, it centerd around 14- and 16-year-old siblings Sam and Lindsay Weir (John Francis Daley and Linda Cardellini) and their struggles with post-pubescent self-definition. In addition to rich multi-layered writing and fleshed out characters, the soundtrack was always perfectly crafted for each episode
