3d seems to be every where in the movie industry now a days. You can not turn without seeing a movie that is being made in a two dimensional and three dimensional version. My question though is why? Does everything really have to be in 3D? Is the 3D going to make me love the movie anymore. And the thing is with a few exceptions the 3D is being added to atrocious movies to give them more appeal. I think the movie producers are doing this to show that the 3D version is so bad that the normal version can not get any worse. This way they get paid twice for the same movie. Also who decided that the 3D movie should be about four dollars movie than the other one. There the same exact movie so just because some things are coming at me, you deserve to be paid more. That's like Burger King charging $2 more for a whopper with a little bit of mustard on it.
The 3D is never being added to make the movie more watchable or adding more to the plot. The moive Step Up 3D for example had absolutely no right making the movie in 3D. Tell me how is seeing dancing coming at me going to make me appreciate the generic plot of the moive. I like the two-dimensional version of the movie a lot better because at least they are not desperately trying to wow me with stale antics. They do that with their own movie.
I am thinking of a new gimmick that will come along when we have the technology. Its four-dimensional and now actual things will be coming at you. Another thing in the movie, if the actor is shooting someone one screen does he really have to point the gun at the audience. I find that counterproductive and a waste of bullets. But I digress... In 4D the bullets this time will be real. At least then i would want to see some of the horrible films.

If a man went to jail for fraud would you ask him for businees advice? Would you ask a Canadian about American law? The answer to both questions is no. Thisquestion relates a lot to my feel on voting. Although i am not at the age of being aaable to vote yet, I can see why there are voting restriction. Most teens would probably vote for the most charismatic leader because they do not really know any better. They would be voting for someone who would affect their parents more than them. I can see the same thing about un-reformed ex convicts. If they are in and out of jail most of the time why should they vote for someone that would have no importance in a prison complex. The age restriction and who should be able to vote are very good policies that we have. With that said I also think that there maybe should be an age that after you vote counts for less or not at all.
Before, you get mad just hear me out. After a certain age some people are not able to make that good of decisions. For example my great granmother thought her diaper would be a great place to store her food. Is this the person that you want choosing your president. She has been old even before I was born and she is choosing who is the president of our country. I really do like old people, but after a certain point they do not have to abide by the same rules that we do. Old people rarely leave home, pay for gas, contribute to the work society or care about the things that we do. So should these people rarely affected by our leaders play a major role in electing them? The 2004 election had controvversy because of Florida. It is well known that many retired citizens move to Florida. See my point? There are many old people who are still functioning but a majority is not. So should we give a functionality test or make and maximum age? I don't know but it can lead to efficent elections.
A lot of people today believe in the idea of modernity. Modernity is the belief that our tradtions now are completely different than those that lived before us. We think that past people were far more primitve and unlike us in every aspect. the truth of the matter is however, the way that we live is essentially the same but with more technology. The car is not that new an invention but modifications were made to it to make it faster and more efficient. So we cannot consider ourselves more advanced when we have the same things that they had before.
The idea of capitalism that Americans live in was created in the 1500s. That was 500 years ago and we still live in the same manner but with different technology. Romans has Gladiator games to satisfy the poor. These games were used to entertain the poor masses and make there life more bearable. Doesn't watching the new Jersey Shore and Glee makes us get through our week much faster and easier.
The gadgets that we have today do nothing new and we think they are great advancements. People in classic societies were able to walk great lengths without complaining and we commend the car for making the thought of walking unbearable. What's the difference? Now we have to spend thousands on a car and 3 bucks a gallon to go the same place we go if we were walking. We rarely travel far enough to make the car an invention that pays for itself. The telephone makes communicating easier, but honestly most of the time the person that you are talking to is in the same area. So this idea of our superiority is very ignorant but understandable. Thinking about now matter what time you lived when you were living it was in the present. The ancient Egyptians were not thinking about the iPods being made in the future because they were too busy living life. We are in the present, but someday it will be considered the past.
Rejoice the iPhone can now be serviced by Verizon instead AT&T. Hooray!! Sing, Rejoice and be Merry. What is so special about the Verizon iPhone that makes it better than the AT&T iPhone? Wait for it... Nothing absolutely nothing. In fact it does less things than the AT&T iPhone. So you mean to tell me people are switching over just for the service. They are diving head first into a new contract and leaving an old one just because of the brand backing it. People are so quick to latch onto name brands just for the sake of it. Thats like getting a Prius just because it was made by BMW. In fact that Prius made by BMW though goes 12 feet a gallon and has no cup holders. Research needs to be done when making very big decisions like the one with the IPhone. Steve Jobs is making a mint by just giving two phone companies the same exact product. In fact all he does is add a few extras features to the same exact thing and charges hundreds of dollars for it. Taco Bell uses the same ingredients to make basically everything but some cost more than others. Taco with Cheese $1.99 and Taco with 2 types of Cheese $2.99. We should thank the geniuses who work at companies like this.
Sorry my grasp on politics is bad for a teenager but i do know a thing or two. I assume that we herd about the situation oing on in Egypt. This revolution was unlike others one and there are to be some like this one in the future. For starters, with the emerging importance of the Internet, we were able to see live feeds of the occurrences in Egypt and really witness how the people were feeling. The internet gave this people a louder voice and made sure even heard what they had to say. we can see the shift in protest over the years. Before people went with picket signs and slight protection if things got out of hand. Now thought we see people bringing phones, and cameras to record the events. People are on the internet now more than ever so seeing something on the web will resonate more with us than the news or television. This revolution made people who did not necessarily care for politics hang onto every word in the videos of those Egyptians voicing there opinions.
Can we imagine if the internets was around and as powerful as it now in the past. We would have been able to Livestream Dr. King speeches, and make more Americans send efforts to Holocaust after reading Anne Frank tweets.
Whenever someone describes a situation where you can have what you want and it a win win, they say you can have your cake and eat it too. This phrase annoyed me for many reason. the most obvious though, what else are you gonna do with cake? If i have my cake, don't i have it solely for the purpose of eating it. i don't buy cakes just to watch them and perform rituals around it. i have the cake because i want cake. So in a situation, do i do the most obvious and only reasonable thing. What about have your air and breathe it too or have your car and drive it too. Am i really going to do many things with a cake besides eat it. Philosophers need to come up with better sayings. Cause as we say in the intelligent community, we can have our cake and perform quantum physics with it.
I'm sure that we all heard about the controversy surroundind the beef at Taco Bell. The beef was tested and it was found out that there's so little beef in the beef that it can even be called beef. How the Funkadelic is that even possible. There's certain level of beef that's needed in order to be called beef? I always thought that beef either was beef or it wasn't beef. What shocked me the most was the percent needed to call something beef. So something doesn't have to be 100% beef to be considered good. What else don't we know. Does milk only have to be 12% cow's milk and the rest from rats or dogs? This add to another reason why i don't eat at Taco Bell. The practically sell the same thing but in different forms. Honestly how many different types of tacos and burritos can you make without same of them only being slighty different. Well, Wendy's for the Win.
If your paid to flip Burgers at Burger King, is it smart to not show up to get paid more. No the boss would jsut find aperson to do it for the same price. So how do football players expect this plan to work. Dont show up to work to get paid more. Of course they are a vital part to the game but they dont run the show. The League does. The NFL should stop paying them for a week and see how well the players wold survive. No more expensive cars i dont drive and jewelry i dont need. Thats what the players will think and make them get back to work.
This years Superbowl is gonna suck. There is no back story to the two teams and they have to be the most boring teams ever. The Steelers have a date rapist for a captain and the Packers are just plain boring. The best player they ever had sends pics of his junk to girls and can't decide to retire or not. I personally wanted the Eagles to make it. That would have been the best redemption story ever. He would have went from beating dogs to beating dudes on the football field. That would have been something to watch but now its two teams with no personality playing each other. And the Black Eyed Peas are set to perform. The BLACK EYED PEAS!! Who wants that. Only two members are worth a damn in the group. The other two are just their to collect checks and whatnot. What will they do on stage lip sync to songs that dont involve them, hand water to Fergie and Will?
