RACING TOAST
September 11th 2006 00:58
MMmmmmmm raisin toast.
Despite all attempts to detox in the morning - whatever that means! Yeast and gluten and all those things PLUS caffeine are too good a start to a day. Ooo and I forgot butter...sweet salty buttery butter!
It's love it really is. I did do the detox you know - went for millett in the morning (don't ask don't know), rice milk and NO FRUIT - none - that's how detoxy it was. I had zero sugars zero caffeines (just a bit of 'erb tea) and honey for taste...but only a little.
Sure i felt like I was eating cardboard and maybe I was, but it actually was beneficial. I got a taste fro the stuff (it's called power porridge) and it cleaned my palate - among other things! I didn't have claggy milk breath or coffee breath and there were no glutinous products hanging around in my stomach like glue. Yes, you know that bloaty feeling. All gone.
This start to the day along with a wholistic program (which was strictish) even changed my appearance - clearer skin, clearer eyes - even my brain.
But when it was over I had a bread, wine and cheese party and have since become muddy.
So what was the point? It's a story to tell I guess and I do recommend a detox, BUT as I said, it's all about the love - and I love raisin toast, and everything it stands for in the food chain. I guess the moral to the story is moderation.
So millett tomorrow?
Who can tell!
