Dreaming About -- What Kind of Difference a Dream Job Come True 'For Everyone' Would Make

Do you ever wonder what this world would be like if everyone had the capability and did actually, apply their skills and talents effectively; and in the way that suited them, so that they felt totally comfortable in the job of their choice; and loved to go to work/do their job, every single day?

To be able to be fulfilled and make a difference in this world, by the application of learned skills and gifted talents -- would make everyone who was able to participate in that wonderful feat... very lucky, fortunate, and probably -- extremely happy.

However -- That is simply hypothetically. The participation of everyone being capable of working their 'dream job' -- is a stretch in reality. We live in a very complex and sometimes unfortunate world, where not everyone has a chance in excelling, the same way others do.

However -- It is nice to dream.

A Luxury/Made-Necessity -- The Cell Phone

Do you ever wonder what is in store for the cell phone? It's an amazing device, that has really quite advanced communication ability.

The security of having a cell phone is one of the biggest attractions. Ironically -- Regardless of weather or not it may cause cancer, the need for having the connection ability in the palm of your hand -- that a cell phone is capable of... seems to outweigh any possible health risks.

We've come a long way from the big, bulky things, that we previously called cell phones.

It has the quality of a security blanket. Who feels funny, when they leave home without it?

It is definitely a luxury/made-necessity, for some.

It will be interesting to see how the cell phone evolves, in the future.

Facebook Profile Filtering and 'Un-Friending'

Facebook and other social networking sites are (no doubt), some of the most awesome internet social tools -- and their popularity has exploded!

It's wonderful that we can stay in-touch with our friends, with such ease. At the click of a button, we can see 'what's up' with those who are 'everyday' close with; as well, as distant pals that we may be familiar with, such as old-school classmates, etc. -- whom share a connection of the past, however -- that we are not too deeply involved with.

Some people may "friend" everyone they can contact. Others... may have a tight filter on who they share and connect with.

The filtering system is wonderful for privacy -- it is there (effectively, for our protection/freedom to choose); however, it may cause friction/hard-feelings if one member realizes that his or her friend "unfriended' him or her; or, if all of a sudden, parts of someone's profile is blocked... and the other person does not know for sure, if he or she should take it personally.

Aside from that situation -- There is always the one where members get too personal with each other, or post things to get them in trouble.

Over-all, Facebook and other social networks are great connection tools. However -- Sometimes, hard-feelings may need to be soothed.

Do You Think That 'Sesame Street' Could Be Modified? Here's an Idea!

Just a random thought: I was thinking about the television program, Sesame Street. What I was thinking was this: Why not make levels or grades of the show, where you can step-up to the next intellectual level. Stepwise -- Each level (different type of Sesame Street program) of learning, could take you up the ladder of learning, to a Master's Degree. Or, as feasibly possible on television.

Can you picture it? After someone was finished with understanding/mastering one show... on to the other

Younger Parent My Hand-Down Better Genes -- Older Parent, Better Over-All Security

Being that at a genetic level, it is better (more-so, for women) to reproduce/have children at an early age... than to have children towards when the 'biological gates' start closing -- it is ironic that down-the-line... it is better for a couple to have children at a later age, when they may be more financially stable, emotionally mature, and more prepared for a child to be in their lives.

There may be a compromise, for each situation described above
