What is it with cheaters? I think there are lots of IT’s but the main IT is ego. Yes a big fat and juicy ego, mmmm mmm.
The word on the street in Sydney is that there is a general lack of balance in the ratio of hetero females to hetero males; too many chicks no enough dicks – to be blunt! So when a girl does manage to get another guy, on top of her current guy (I’m not talking kinky), is it because she is tortured and not having her needs met and all that whooha? No, it’s because she’s just plain greedy.
This here rant has been inspired by a woman who has a man in every port…YAY girl power! No, that was just me being sarcastic. This woman was out for a good ego stroke – and still is. Her man is sweet sensitive, kind, forgiving (she’s done this before) and good looking to boot…so why does she do it? Why does anyone do it? It’s addictive.
Once you feed the ego it grows and multiplies and takes up space and wants to be fed again. The ego monster doesn’t stop and I propose that it never will. It’s an addiction – I know I’ve had an inflated ego, you know with flattery and glances and the odd “good job sport keep it up” kind of comments – and that’s just great – I hope everyone gets a bit of that, but too much can go from fun evil to pure evil – and nobody likes that…or do they.
I’m going out on a limb and saying that the cheater in question today and those such like, are pure evil and they won’t stop. They’ll never be satisfied with their man/woman…and I want to know how they are going to turn on that charm when the looks are gone and the shine of the slime ceases to glisten. Tell me do, I’d love to know – I don’t see the charisma of Jack Nicholson in this woman that’s for sure.
So do I conclude by saying cheating is wrong and stupid? I’m sure it is to the cheatee – and you know we haven’t really discussed that person today, have we – that’s for another day. And when that day comes I have a sneaking suspicion that cheating will be discussed as a means for the pluming of egos.
So there you have it cheating IS naughty, and contrary to my desire to create drama in life, as discussed in my PEOPLE blog (there’s a blatant plug for ya), there is no need for it UNLESS you’re playing Monopoly – in which case I retract all statements.

But I don't know that polyamory is wrong. What your friend (if she's a friend) should do is be open about enjoying multiple partners. And then she wouldn't be leading anyone on...
