Puddlejumper is the new girl. She has been a successful blogger elsewhere since Sept 2006 but decided here is where she wants to be to discuss things in more detail.

See, she was/is a bit mad. Not in a "I'm a bit mad me" way.

More in a "had a psyche evaluation" kinda way.

But there's limits to blogging about that.

The world is such an ickle place she thinks it might be fun to take a bit more of a look around.

How many doctors to change a lightbulb

Found this on the BBC news site this morning.

About 40 light bulbs have been taken down in hospital corridors to help a debt-ridden NHS trust save money.

Isn't this just the craziest thing you've heard?

The local MP for the hospital involved, Tom Baker (no relation to the Doctor, I believe) said that

"If our hospitals are scrimping money on light bulbs, how can they afford the latest drugs and high quality patient care?"

Sky be my Valentine

No Valentines cards for me this morning.

Just a final demand from Sky TV to pay up or lose my service.

I mean.

Where's the love?



(£57.50 if some kind soul wants to be my patron?)

Think its probably time I did something about my ever increasing debt.

So braved up and made an appointment to see the Citizen's Advice Bureau.


Apparently they will help me sort it all out free of charge and all completely confidentially.

Hi,

You've joined the same time as me so just thought I'd say hello.

I heard a theory once about belly button fluff.

Its made out of socks. The ones that disappear in the wash?

You put pairs of socks into the laundry but one in ten pairs comes out as a single sock. Where do the missing socks end up?

They go into some weird worm hole in the universe where elves then turn them into belly button fluff.
