Stanza 4
It was from an ageless Antiquity
Lying dormant
Resting eternally
In the quietness of my mind
It was the dream that you see
The story soon to be explained
It was from an ageless world
In the forgotten history of human kind
The secret revealed
Through all material to be consecrated
Here in the world of mortals all
Dancing in forms by Mother Nature carefully designed
Beyond the darkened path
Lies the light that all must expose
See here the self created god
Created by all to save mankind
To be armed with lance and sword
To dance quietly in a twisted head
As consciousness awakes and stirs in the psyche it can dredge up a mixture of feelings and thoughts, some of which will be why I am here? What is my purpose? Even though these questions have been answered and asked by a thousand philosophers in the past and present and will no doubt be also in the future. To use an analogy that may help. Within each and every one of us is a gem, of rarest beauty and delight, this gem is in most of us buried deep within our unconscious/subconscious, and further it is encrusted with slime and muck and mud of not only the life we are living, but all our lives and those of our collective cultures from the dawn of the universe to its end. By exploring our deeper and mostly hidden self we learn the tricks and techniques to find the gem and remove the caked on stuff, we learn to polish it, and fashion it into the shape that we desire. Once having found the gem and removed the gunk from it and polished it we should therein discern a small light reflecting of the facets of the gem, each facet reflecting the light further and further until the light veritably explodes as it builds up its intensity. But of course our gem is only a piece of a larger one, which is the truth, with say seven billion people currently in existence on the planet earth, we have seven billion facets to this gem of truth, as we take in and acknowledge our own facet we must learn to look at and appreciate other facets, we do this by turning the gem around. No one truth is right, no one truth is wrong, but that all are valid.
Exercise # 4……. I want you to seek out a gem, stone, or whatever that will be the representation of your own truth; you are to clean it, hold it in the palm of your hand, feel it, communicate with it. Imagine that the light within it is reflecting of the various facets of it, and just as its about to burst imagine it has entered you and is suffusing your body and cells with a renewed energy and light, allow it to transform whatever is there within that needs to be transformed.
