psychological alchemy prologue stanza 1

PROLOGUE
The prologue has to introduce the characters of which of course there is only one, the Merlin . It plainly sets out to convey the energy and the power behind the Merlin, it will be noticed that in reality the Merlin is neither male nor female but is in fact androgynous. For in creations making, we are all of one and the same. It is also the fact that it is, or rather was our form, before we split into the division of the sexes this is why a lot of humans feel incomplete and even only half themselves. It tells of the purpose of the work, (or correctly it is the magnum opus or great work) which is of course to recreate the body, mind, soul and spirit through four levels rather than the standard one used by others. The only person speaking is the Merlin and the Merlin is addressing the Merlin as a child, born of time immortal, androgynous and eternal. The Merlin tells the Merlin that the only means to travel are in the power of the ship of the soul, which in real terms is the imagination and the power of dreams. It is through this source of power that the Merlin can achieve anything set before it, any power new or old, and follow the power of the tide of birth and death. There is also in the prologue the sense of the fearful opening of the opus as well as the fertile chaos of a disruptive creation. It is interesting to note that there are potential schizophrenic dangers in dealing with the Merlins art, but it is also the energy of the potential to reconcile opposites and integrate your own journey.
Stanza 1
For ten thousand lifetimes have I learnt?
Seeing, knowing, the secrets of the eternities
And for ten thousand more have I been burnt?
Feeling, knowing, that the fires will burn with the silent truth that lay dormant within my being
For yet another ten thousand more I was all but ignored
Left to rot by the decaying dream scattered to the myriad corners of the universe
But in this one lifetime
I have uncovered the power that within me was stored and quietly waiting to be transformed in the miracles of the journey
So I started a sacred odyssey to uncover its timeless and ageless wisdom
That eternal source that is planted
Nurtured and nourished, then allowed to blossom in its sacred perfection
I gladly explored every avenue
Every nook and cranny
Every rise and fall
Every nuance along the way
Follow me my child
You may gain your own reward
Since the dawn of consciousness the mind and spirit of the human being has been struggling and attempting to find balance in the perception of both thought and action. It is to this end that the first stanza covers such a wide span of existence; it is a poetic glimpse into this sacred eternity, and then to let the heart and soul feel aware that this is a normal state of affairs and not some mythological pipedream. 30,000 lifetimes is a long time, if the average lifespan is say 50 years then the total is of 1,500,000 Years. Of course it must be said these would not always run consecutive or even as a continuum, it would I believe be more likely that it’s a few lifetimes here or few centuries of gaps, then a few more lifetimes there. There could be as well maybe the odd stint off world, evolving with other planets and experiencing other realities in other dimensions. It is hoped that in the picking up and reading of this book, you as reader are also the student with yourself as the teacher; you have a desire to explore the power and the presence of the sacred truth that flows and blossoms from within. Let’s look into every nook, into every cranny, every avenue, and every path, however dark and mysterious it may appear however treacherous the way may be. For we all must recognise that in every rise and fall, and in every subtle nuance of same and difference, the power of the sacred gift within is eternally on display.
Exercise # 1….. I want you to go to a library or use the internet and find a book or website dealing with life on earth 1,500,000 years ago and I want you to them imagine what life was like back then. I want you to see yourself as human, how would you feel, how would you interact with the environment, how would you communicate with others if others are around. I further want you to write about a dozen lines on your feelings and impressions. Keep in mind you are not being marked or evaluated on the strength of this small essay; it is purely for your own benefit.

...Welcome...I for one enjoyed all your words... especially the Stanza, which resonates deep within...
...the first things that springs to mind on the first exercise is 'The Clan of the Cave Bear' I loved that story and the simplicity of the time...although today is less of a jungle I think...unless you're stuck in a noisy mall.. *te he*
I look forward to more...
Lilla...
