Mashed Tees

Not long ago, I posted a series of images and said I was hoping to get them printed onto t-shirts. I've got my site up and running now, and you can find it here: Mashed Tees.

Body Jewellery Roundup

I have a confession to make: I'm a huge fan of body jewellery. I don't have anywhere near as many piercings as I did as a teenager, but that's no reason not to wear pretty things in the holes I still have!

This pink and gold scaffold bar would look amazing in an industrial piercing. It stands out, which I love, but, like any industrial bar, it's super easy to hide as long as your hair covers your ears. Buy it here.

Another one for the industrial, this plain silver bar is accented with a cute silver star. It's subtle, playful, and a lot of fun. You can get your own here.

This sweet little number can go in pretty much any ear piercing. You can buy it here and similar, almost equally cute versions here and here

"But Clarissa!" you say, "What if I want something sexy for my belly button?" My dear, sexy, reader, I haven't forgotten you. Try this dragonfly dangle on for size. Not ostentacious enough? Try this pearl flower. Or something more understated? How about some elegant silver hearts?

But what about nose piercings? They're adorable, they're popular, and The Body Jewellery shop has plenty of jewellery to fill them.

Designing T-Shirts

I love cartoon t-shirts,, and I hate the fact that I can never get any that vary from the norm of either well known characters or boring basic animals. So I'm designing my own! Once I build up a collection of designs I'm hoping to form a partnership with a company that prints shirts. But for now, here's my current designs...

This is a Deertopus, designed by the request of my best friend. I really enjoy animal mash-ups, so if anyone else has some interesting ideas I'd love to hear them.

And meet Pig-in-Boots. He's a little more normal than Deertopus, but still an odd thing to see on a t-shirt.

I need to straighten out the lines and design a few more shirts, but I'm pretty happy with the way they're going. Does anyone have any weird and wonderful creatures they'd like to see on a shirt?

Edit: I had to add my newest invention: The Sneetah! The linework is still off, but I'm getting there.

By now we all know Etsy. It's the internet's biggest marketplace for handmade goods, and while it does sometimes spawn some duds (Regretsy, anyone?), most of the goods there are absolutely stunning
