Power of Positive Thinking
July 4th 2009 20:00
There is a new study that claims that positive thinking can make things worse. Positive thinking may lower one's self-esteem. For most people it may work in some way, but for some it can lower their self-esteem much lower than it already might be.
I believe the self-esteem gets lowered because of disappointments in life, more so than the thought process. If someone repeats "I am lovable" and faces disappointment in the real world, it tends to lower their self-esteem.
