I Think We're Alone Now by Tiffany
This is one of our favourite songs from the 80's and it appears that we weren't the only ones as it topped the charts in both the US and the UK, back in 1987.
A cover of the 1967 hit for Tommy James & the Shondells, it is interesting to know that when Tiffany first heard the song she didn't want to record it as she thought this it wasn't modern enough!! Of course, it turned out to be her biggest hit!!
The video for the song is also a stand out with its scenes of Tiffany singing in front of crowds at shopping malls, echoing her rise to fame!! We think this sort of stuff is really lacking in music videos. With all of the money spent on effects, dancers and other things in music videos, don't we just want to see our artists performing at a shopping mall!! HA!!
