Playing Around with Photoshop.

On our current laptop we haven't gotten around to getting Photoshop so last night we signed up for a free trial of the latest version to have a play around with. I don't remember much about Photoshop from when we previously had it so it's like starting all a new. So far I'm loving it, but will have to find a guide as to what is what.
Here's an example of what I did last night. The photo was taken round my parents the other weekend not long after we'd all had a big water fight. You can see some of the little droplets of water on the flower.
Please let me know what you think of my little bit of fun.

I find everyone is hard to find under the new system. I missed this one.
It is all very time consuming and I'm afraid at present I find it rather slanted.
I'm aiming for the top 20 in the stats, not the popularity poll, I've been there once, currently sit at 24/25 , but not sure it is worth the trouble. But I continue to experiment, hope it will all lead somewhere some day.
I do like doing what I am doing but I am always looking for ways to save time, I won't always have as much as I now spend, and I think I'd be looking to get some sort of return.

I think the middle one is becoming my favourite too, it seems to highlight the water droplets more.
Is there a new system on Orble? I've probably not been around much lately to notice, but I have most of my favourite site bookmarked and linked to on Callum's blog so I can easily find you.
That's still a fantastic position, 24/25, I love looking at your blog, I love how your signature tunes match up with the topic so well and image the photos you use very well. I hope you keep up the great work you do as I'd sorely miss your blog if it wasn't here to look at daily.
Big Hugs.

I think that is a great position, katyzzz, congratulations. I also spend a lot of time on mine so I know what you mean. But unfortunately I'm not in the Top 50

Tracy, thank you for the kind comments. I'm a bit baffled by bits on Photoshop (layers in particular) but I found a site that talks you through it which when my little monkey monster is in bed I'll try and read. I'd love to see your creations.
Katyzzz, being in the top 50 is a great achievement. How are the stats worked out, how many individual readers, or clicks onto your blog or something else?

And I know what you mean Tracy and katyzzz - I put a lot of time into the posts I do (I don't do anywhere near as many as you girls do but the one I do a day takes me a while) and I don't think I'm even in the top 100!
Oh well - we'll just keep plodding away!
Cheers

I'm with CC on this, I like the last one. I think it's the softness of the effect that attracts me.
Beautiful flower, by the way.
