Physical exercise is good to the brain
April 1st 2007 16:02
Someone by the name Steve dropped me emails several times a week. The emails are certainly for the purpose of promotion. But one point he talks in the email is true, physical exercise is beneficial to our brain functions.
He says as little as ten minutes of exercise is enough to have effects on the brain. So no matter if you run, ride bicycle, swim, or dance, you brain will become lucid and overwherme with creative ideas each time you start the workout session. As I told you before, I walk to exercise my body every evening now.
The moment I start to walk, I try not to think of anything. I just relaxe myself. Then the thoughts of what to write on my blogs emerge from nowhere. New ideas just keep appearing as I turn around a corner, climb up a slope, and return to the starting point. My mind just re-assamble words I may be used to form sentences, paragraphs automatically. This gives me kinda miraculous experience.
A Japanese practitioner once said when you are fully absorbed in an activity, like walking for example, you have already entered a state of trance. A state of the mind which let the subconscious to express itself freely. This is the moment when you touch you creativity.
Maybe you don't think my writing is good. But to me, it is a break through. Cause, before the end of last year, I found it very hard to start writing anything. Now I can finish two to three entries at the same time.
