Philly Flyers 2011-2012 season downfalls so far
February 15th 2012 02:25
If your a flyers fan like I am you can completely understand where im coming from when i say how our team is making us pull out our hair so far to this point in the season. The flyers started off looking as good as they've been in the past few years. Giroux was going hot and our rookies were looking like all of them(voracek, read, and couturier).
Every flyers fan knows about the goalie problems we've had these past few years. But luck seemed to be going our way when Ilya Brygalov started out as looking as the best investment the flyers have made in a long time.
In the begining of this season, Flyers captain and arguable strongest D-Man Chris Pronger went out with an upper body injury in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The bad news came after the game when doctors said that our captain will be out for the remainder of the season. Ever since this time the flyers seem to have been going in a slump that doesnt look like is going to end soon.
Our "D" is not like we could want it right now and our goaltending, as always, seems to be failing us.
I stay strong and for this team just like all of our die hard fans. Were the best fans in hockey and that wont stop no matter if we are in a slump or not. I believe that with the trade deadline in 2 weeks, we can make a big move on "D" and pick up a nice defensman to help us out the rest of the year. I can speak on half of all us fans that seeing the flyers behind the Rangers.
So all you fans please comment and tell me what us real fans think.
