Have times changed?
I like how the second a Japanese ship is caught savagely catching whales we hear all about it on the news. Everyone is up in arms wanting answers.
However we never get told of the injustices that are happening within our own country.
Perhaps it is just easy to deflect the attention to another country rather than having to face our own issues.

Yeah I get what your saying. I saw The Other Boleyn Girl the other night at the cinema & it was completely different to the book.
Watching the movie I was beginning to get irritated because so much from the book had been removed from the movie. Some things werent explained which makes for a sometimes disjointed and confusing movie.
I think if film makers want to do an adaptation of a book they should publicise that the movie is only roughly based on it.
It must suck to be an author and spend so much of your time constructing a novel that will intrigue people & then to have someone do a movie version and completely butcher your materpiece.

Dude! Dont pick on any of the Saw movies! Please!
They may not be known for their storylines and scripts but what scary movie is? Its not about the words its about the actions! You dont watch a Saw movie for enlightenment you watch it to be scared shitless! And to make you think how far you would go in order to live.
I think you hated this movie before it even began.
