Pearl Goes For A Walk

Pearl looked up from the papers. Her friend Ashley had paid the price of growing up hatred from a pack of thugs. She began to shiver inside of her skin as she read the list of injuries that Ashley had sustained as a result of accidental error. She began to grow a little bit worried that there still might be violence outside. Whenever she went for a walk, or moved to the shops, all she saw was peace and happiness. She didn't see anyone even begging, and she had come to the conclusion that only third world countries had violence. The rest of the world was modern.
Pearl began to glare at the window. She thought she saw some silver moon, and she decided that to prove her point she would go for a walk. She lifted herself to her feet, then casually she moved in order to grab her jacket. Pearl slung the jacket under her arm, she was sure that she wouldn't need it.
Pearl smiled. She then moved to go for a walk. She walked and walked under the eye of the moonlight. She walked until her feet began to sweat. She then turned around. She smiled to the setting that sat behind her. Tall buildings with lots of lights. It made her feel very good. She then walked back.
Pearl felt her steps become clicks as she walked on the paved cement. She knew that she would meet a peaceful night. It was just like the night before. Totally alluring.
“This is nice;” she muttered as she glared at the scene.
Pearl smiled as she moved back to her house. She felt tired to the bone. She had worn out her energy and needed to sit. Her feet had had enough exercise. She could wait until morning until she felt like exercising once again.
Pearl moved towards the door. She looked to its face. She saw the slot where she was to swipe her card. She did it. Immediately she was admitted inside.
“Home sweet home;” she muttered as she entered the house. “Just how I like it;” she added before she closed the door, and hung her coat.
Pearl moved to the couch and swung her feet over it. There she rested. She felt good and warm, and hadn't a worry in the world.
