Here are the tips for some of this week's other matches:
1. Man. City - Blackburn
City will look to prove that last week's slip was just (surprise last-minute loss to Sunderland), and that City are still a strong League's title contender.
It doesn't appear as though there is much Blackburn can do to match City's offensive strenth and get any points away.
2. Newcastle - Blackpool
The first weeks of the season have taught us that both sides are much better at home than away.
I believe that Newcastle's superior offence will lead them to a comfortable win over the newly promoted Blackpool.
3. West Brom. - Tottenham
Tough match away for Tottenham, having already lost points away from home, while also having to compete in the Championsleague's earlier stages.
Even though, despite Brom's strong defense, Tottenham (led by the wonderful Bale and Defoe) should be able walk away with the 3 points from this game.
Starting this week, I thought I should try and share with you my predicitons for the Premierleague's upcoming matches.
These tips are just my opinion of course, which you may agree or disagree to. I will just say that I have been right on several occasions in the past, so I am not totally lacking experience on the matter.
On to the games:
1. Everton - Man. Utd. - not an easy game away for Man. Utd., facing a strong home side which doesn't usually give away points at home. Still, I think United's quality will make the difference, especially with Rooney starting to get back into it and Nani and Berbatov in great form.
Therefore - I would go for a win for United.
2. Arsenal - Bolton - Bolton are travelling to London after an exhausting game, which they just barely managed to level at home. Arsenal have had a great offensive start to the season, with Walcott showing his quality and Fabregas getting back into action.
Anything but an Arsenal win would be surprising.
3. Fulham - Wolves - Both teams are much better at home than away. Fulham's stronger defense and improving offense will do the work.
Therefore I would bet on a Fulham win (allthough a tie wouldn't be out of the question too).
Good luck!
I think all us real football fanatics were glued to the t.v watching the championsleague draw last night.
looks like there are some exciting groups, and some interesting games which will already take place during the group stages.
An interesting group to follow might be Group A, with the likes of Inter, Bremen, Tottenham and Twente.
Hard to guess who will qualify from this group.
Inter would be a pretty safe bet, but who will join?
I think Tottenham looks very strong, with players of the highest caliber, such as Bale and Defoe, and therefore is my favorite to qualify from the second place in this Group.
Does anybody think otherwise?
Should Barca fans be happy that Zlatan is staying?
Following his first season with the Catalan football giants, and after countless of rumors and speculations linking him to other clubs in the continent, it would now seem that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going to remain with FC Barcelona, at least for another football season.
There is not much debate that Zlatan's first season with Barcelona has not lived up to its expectations. Despite a satisfactory amount of goals scored by the Swedish international, it was quite apparent that the coaching staff was not happy with Zlatan's play, which led to his sidelining in the later parts of the season. Not only that, but the club's recent multimillion dollar deal to purchase David Villa from rivals Valencia, let many people to think that Barcelona will be searching for new home for their Swedish striker

a lot of it is luck and some scores are very hard (or even impossible to predict).
however, there is also the element of knowledge.
i think the more knowledge you have about the league, the teams, their players, form, injuries, team spirit, etc. the more chances you have of making an accurate bet.
you might still get it wrong, but you increase your chances of getting it right!
