Over The Limit

In an article that I had previously written about, it talked about foreign pilots in third world countries consuming alcohol before a flight like it was no big deal. In the US there are strict regulations that pilots and crews cannot consume alcohol the night before their next flight.
I'm assuming these regulations are for morning crews.
Either way when a pilot arrives at an airport for a flight smelling of alcohol on his breath, then certain red-flags go off. Here's a pilot who blamed stronger beer for his failed sobriety test. His airline was American Airlines. He was at Heathrow and could have been arrested.
He obviously has engaged in this practice before, and breaths smell like a dead cat from alcohol consumption the night before. This is why I personally believe the alcohol was consumed before the flight. Even if his breath did smell of alcohol from the night before, his hygiene must be lacking.
