HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
My mom and my friend Amy called me on my Birthday. When my mom called I was on a cruise looking for dolphins. I saw one jump out of the water but didn't get the picture in time.There was several other dolphin siting during the cruise, but I think it was partly the captains atempt to amusing him self by watching some tipsy pasangers stumble from one site of the boat to the other. All beverages were free so after the first 1/2 hour there were several stumblers.
I woke up early to catch some breakfast before I had to go catch a bus tour to Clearwater Beach. It took 2 1/2 hours to get to Clearwater. I was entertained by a chatty women from Oklahoma. She also talked my ear off on the way back about how discustingall the Indians in her area are. She said, they will not even sell their art to the white people. "I don't call them Native Americans. They're Indians..." I hope everyone from there are not that close minded...
A Day at Clearwater Beach
When we got there I went straight on the dolphin cruise. It was so bueatiful out on the water. Other than spotting dolphins the captain pointed out several celebrity homes there like Hulk Hogan's, Tom Cruise's, and Julia Robert's places. We also saw a huge amount of birds which we fed bread the captain had brought. The birds were practically attacking the ship to get the little peices of bread we held out.
Then it was time to hit the beach. I played in the sand for a bit. relaxed in the sun on the sand until I felt like beacon. I had 30 sunscreen on but those rays were hot coming down on the white sand. I brought my bathing suit, but I decided not to go in the water. It was pretty crowded and the water was a bit cold. Amy texted me while I was relaxing on the beach.
Next I hungout at pier 60 and had some lunch. I had brought a begal and cream cheese from breakfast. I had a corndog and diet Pepsi on the cruise too. awhile later I had some strawberry cheesecake ice cream for deseart.
While on the pier young guy came over and started chatting with me and asked if I would be around for the evening carnival. I said maybe even though I new I had to go caught the bus back by 5pm. Chatted with him for a bit...The found a shady spot nearer to where I had to catch the bus and read the cosmo I had brought. It was a very relaxing day at the beach.
Spring Break Traffic
On the way back to Orlando we hit some mager traffic. It took twice as long to get back to my hotel. We did make a pitstop for snacks. The driver, Connie, dropped me off right in front of my hotel so I didn't have to walk so far at 10pm. I had to walk about 5 minutes when I caught the bus at 7:55am.
When I got back to the room I had to shower. I needed to get the sand off me. I packed everything I could to leave in the morning.
